*DING DONG*
the school alarm buzzed meaning that it was end of school ALSO meaning it was practice.
I was the first one out of class since I packed 5 minutes before the bell .

I walked into the girls changing room which was lonely like always :(
But this time there was someone in there 
It was obvious it was a girl though
i could only see the back of her head .

She had dark brown long hair which was tied into a high pony tale which was tied with a san-x rubber band , she was also wearing headphones which is probably why she couldn't hear me walk in.

The changing room was quite wide and I was on the opposite side of the room to her.
She was probably too busy changing for her to notice me but she wasn't in any school activities uniform , she was wearing some black tracksuit bottom and a black hoodie.
Maybe she's going for a run idk?

I finished changing by the time i stopped thinking about her and opened the door of the changing room , ready to exit
"WAIT!" I turned around and was dumbfounded to see the girl walking towards me
"Uhm do you know where the volleyball court is?"
Is she perhaps applying to be a member as well ? 
"Yeah sure, i'm heading that way too"

She followed me to the gym which was a really short walk and it was an awkward silence throughout the most of it
I couldn't think of the words to say
"Are you Y/n btw?" she asked
"Yeah i am"
her eyes slightly widened
"Wow uhm i've never seen you in person , i thought the rumours of the only girl in the male volleyball team were fake"
i laughed, not knowing how to respond

We reached the gym and surprisingly i wasn't the first one.
Tendou and Ushijima were already there , they were doing their lay down stretch.
"So yeah uh this is the court." I said awkwardly 
"Can i speak to your coach please?"
"Yeah sure i think he's just a little late" i gave her a warm smile.
"You can sit on the benches while you wait"
She nodded and sat down on the benches.

"Hey guysssss" I ran up to the two
"AY MY GURL Y/N!" Tendou sat up and we did our cool handshake
Ushijima nodded and carried on stretching.

Over the past year we've gotten the tiniest bit closer , it wasn't like we were best of friends but he trusts me a a tiny bit more now.

"Sooooo were are the others?" i asked
"Idk probably late" Tendou replied back
"btw who's that cute girl , do you know her?" I shrugged my shoulders

"She said she wanted to talk to coach tho" i said hopefully giving him some type of clue

"OHHHH maybe she wanna be a player as well" Tendou said
"No" We both looked at Ushijima who suddenly hoped in our convo
"She most likely wants to be a manager"
Me and Tendou looked at eachother then back at Ushijima
"YES I WANT HER SHE'S CUTE"
Tendou whisper shouted
I could see his eyes full of sparkle looking at the girl who was awkwardly sitting there.

"Hey guys" Semi said as he walked in with his school uniform on
"SEMISEMI!" tendou shouted at him
"Why haven't you changed yet?" i asked
"I knew you guys wouldn't know , but coach had to go somewhere i don't know" Semi told us
"So no practice today?" i asked
"Nope" Semi smiled back
"let's go to mini shop"

(A/N: pretend there's like a mini shop in the school campsite where u can buy snacks )

We all stood up from our position and headed towards the door
"Wait Y/n what about the girl" Tendou whispered in my ear and slightly pointed at the girl still sitting who i accidentally forgot about.

I walked up to her and stood in front
"So uhm sorry but coach had something pop up so he couldn't come"
"Oh" she replied
"Yeah i'm really sorry"
"No no it's fine" she said
"Is there anything you want me to tell him?"
she shook her head "I'll tell him myself"
I nodded and she stood up and exited the gym before us.

"Y/n that was rude" Tendou said as he crossed his arms
 "How is that rude"
"cause you didn't ask for her name"
"Stfu" i pinched him on the side.

We all arrived at the mini shop
"Hey can u guys go in cause i'm staying out"
All three of us looked at Tendou weirdly
"Lol why?" Semi questioned
"Cause that cashier hates me" Tendou replies hiding behind me
"Okay now get off me" i gave him another soft pinch causing him to dramatically scream.

The three of us headed inside the shop
"Okay i'll get the ice lollies and you guys get the crisps"
Semi walked towards the ice lolly corner.

Me and Ushijima were at the crisps section.
There was a whole collection but i wanted to get the pizza crisp 

I grabbed a few crisp packet and turned towards Ushijima
"Is there anything else you want?" i asked him
"Can we get a packet of chocolate pocky?"
"Yeah sure"
We walked to the sweet section and i grabbed a packet of pocky
"Come on let's go" i said as he followed behind me.

We saw Semi already at counter paying for the ice lollies.
He finished paying and walked outside.

I stood in front of the line , placing all the food on the counter
"Is that it m'am?"
"Yep"
"Okay that will be 7. 53"
I rummaged through my bag and got my purse out but Ushijima had already put his card in and payed
"O-oh"
"Thankyou and here's your receipt" the cashier handed us the receipt and we exited out of the store
"Thanks Ushijima , i promise i'll pay you back"
"No need" he said bluntly
No that's not happening, i WILL pay him back

"WHAT TOOK U GUYS SO LONG" Tendou whined
"Chill dude we're here now"
I handed him the bag so he can rummage through the chip selection (aka only pizza chips)
"why is there only pizza chips" Tendou sounded disappointed
"cause there is and also the pocky's is Ushijima" i snatched the bag back but Tendou snatched it off me again
"It's mine now"
This led to me chasing him and hitting him with my shoe
