Back at the tower,Anna recognized the symbol of the kingdom,which she had subconsciously incorporated into her paintings over the years.Realizing that she is the long lost princess,she confronts Gothel.As Kristoff is sentenced to hang,Kjekk and Duckling thugs help him to escape.Kjekk then carries him back to Gothel's tower.Kristoff enters by climbing Anna's hair,only to find Anna chained and gagged.Gothel fatally stabs Kristoff and tries to force Anna to leave with her,but Anna agrees to submit forever willingly if she is allow for heal Kristoff.Kristoff,wanting Anna to be free,cuts her hair,which causes it to turn brown and loses its magic,causing Gothel to age rapidly.She trips and falls out of the window of the tower,turning to dust even before she hits the ground.
