Chapter nine

—Last time—

As I walking their and I saw Tony with T'challa. Tony saw me and I immediately went the other way.

As I got to my room and locked the door. I decided to work on it. As I turned it on and everything turned light.

—Now—

—4 hours later—

Y/n POV

I opened my eyes and hit something and I let the darkness consume me.

—20 minutes later—

I reopened my eyes and saw other people. Wait? Starlord, Mantis, Drax, Rocket, Groot, and Gamora?! Mate you know thisss people? Yes, but it's along story.

I said "Where am I? How did I get here?" Peter said "Your in my ship and hit it." I immediately get up and looked around.

I said "Where is it?" Peter said "What are you looking for?" I said "My time machine and memory wipper gun." Rocket laughed and I said "Anyways I'm not from this timeline. The longer I stay here the worse things are going to get."

Gamora said "Why do you need a memory wipper?" I said "Because it's for someone to wipe the memory of me."

I looked around for parts. I said "Anyways the name is Y/f/n. I should work on it."

Rocket said "Your a stranger! We don't know why you need the 'time machine.' You could use that to destroy someone!"

I said "I know I'm a stranger, but I would never hurt innocent people or kill. The only thing you need to know is that I'm not from this timeline, so please help me."

Mantis got closer too me and she touched my arm. She said "She's telling the truth. But I also sense sadness-." I put her hand away.

I said "So will y'all help me?" Peter said "I need to talk too my team." I nodded at him.

He walked away from me. I looked around. I can see parts that can help my machine, but only for one.

As they came back and Gamora said "Why are you in this timeline?" I said "Their was a villain named Kang and I tried to stop him, but he sent me back to the past and I was always wondering why."

Peter said "So Y/f/n is this Kang villain powerful?" I said "Well sometimes he is and sometimes he isn't. I mean he punched me with his robot army and I was sent flying, but for some reason I'm alive."

He said "Welcome to the team." He took his hand out and I shook it.

—The next day—

I slept on the floor mostly because their was no guest room and I was okay with it.

I kept having these nightmares again. Until I heard "Nightmares?" I shot up and saw Mantis.

I said "Yeah. Sometimes they go away. Anyways I should start working on my machine."

I got up and cleaned my mess. Mantis said "Are you hungry?" I said "No. What about you Mantis? Are you hungry?"

She didn't say anything. I walked towards the kitchen and made pancakes. As I got a plate for her. She touched my hand and she said "Why are you sad?"

I quickly took her hand away from mine and I said "No reason." I smiled at her. As I put the pancakes on her plate and she started to eat. She seemed to enjoy it.

She said "This is delicious." I said "Thank you. Anytime you want me to cook something. I'll do it." She smiled, but it was a weird smile. I didn't care.
