When a Miracle happens

Colbys POV's
I wake up noticing Lizzy was in my bed asleep, she must of came in when i asleep i decide to let her sleep a little longer so i head downstairs and see everyone "hey guys" i say and get hey's back "Lizzy came down crying cause she didn't see you down here so I took her upstairs and let her in your room i hope you're not mad" Kat says kinda nervous "no that's fine" i say as i start making her favorite PB&J sandwich with chocolate milk after I'm done making her food i start heading upstairs and here faint cries from my room so i jogged over to just see her standing there hugging her bunny "it's fine sweetheart daddy is right here" i say picking her up and hugging her tightly letting her know I'm not gonna leave her "hey i made your favorite, PB&J sandwich with chocolate milk" i said tickling her sides gently as her beautiful laugh comes out of her mouth "okie okie DADDY please s-stop" she said laughing as i tickle her "Alright lets go eat" i said setting her down she bolts to the stairs as I walk behind her thinking what would i do without  her as I'm half way down stairs and i already see lizzy eating her food, "She really digs in doesn't she?" Elton said with a chuckle i laughed along "yea she does, Oh Lizzy we're gonna go to the fair next week so be on your best behavior if you wanna go" i said as a little warning even though she barely gets in trouble she still needs to know, "ok daddy i will be good." She said with a smile i smile back and give her a kiss on her forehead "Oh do you guys mind if my friend y/n comes with us to the fair." Kat said looking up from her phone i nod yes along with /everyone else "Everyone but Colby, Elton, Jake and of course Lizzy, know her, but i have told her about you guys, oh and Colby i told her about Lizzy just so she wouldn't ask a question that was to personal i hope you dont mind i just didn't want her to ask something and you being uncomfortable with it" she said looking at me "Yea that's totally fine, wait so she knows about .." i say then mouthing her mother she nods yes so i nod back ok "Hey Colby, I'm going to the store to get a few things do you need anything?" Sam said putting his hand on my shoulder "i will just come with you, hey Lizzy since you're done eating do you wanna come with me or stay here and play with your toys, i already know the answer but just wanna make sure" i said as she turns towards me "um... I wanna come with you" she said getting out of her chair "alright lets go quickly get dressed and then we'll leave" i said grabbing her hand and heading upstairs to get dressed, after we get dressed we head back downstairs "Uncle Sam we're ready!" Lizzy yells while walking down the stairs he laughs at her comment "Ok lets go, wait Colby are we taking your car?" He asked so i simply reply "yes" i grab my keys and Lizzy's hand, we walk out the door and Sam grabs my keys so i can put her in "Alright you're strapped up so lets go" i said getting in the drivers seat and putting my seatbelt  on,
~At the store~
"Ok Lizzy you know the rule stay next to me unless if your are going with someone like Sam, and remember what I said?" I asked looking at her "Don't talk. To strangers unless you say its okay" she said smiling "correct" i said as sam goes next to her and grabs her other hand "is there any thing you want Lizzy? Like food wise" Sam says letting go of her hand and grabbing a cart "um.. oh! Fruity pebbles" she said excited "And daddy can i go in the cart please?' She asked nicely tugging my shirt "Yea" i said then lifting her up and setting her in the front of the cart where the seat is and Sam still pushing the cart we walk around get food and a few new clothes for her
~at checkout~
"Aw pretty daughter whose kid is it?" She asked nicely smiling at Lizzy "She's mine" i said handing her my credit card "well you have one beautiful daughter" she said still smiling ad gives me my credit card back
~At Home~
We just finished putting all of the groceries in the house and Lizzy is dancing around with Kat, Tara, and Devyn "Oh Oh aunt Kat a lady called me pretty at the store" she said jumping up and down "Really?" She said acting shocked "Yea the cashier told me i had a beautiful daughter" i said smiling "aw how cute" she said then giving Lizzy a kiss on the cheek
~1week later~
Katrina's POV
Everyone was getting dressed so i called Y/N to come over while i was waiting for her to come over i sat on the couch and then soon heard a knock when i answered it it was "Hey y/n, can't wait for you to meet Colby, Lizzy, Jake, and Elton." I said excited i secretly want them to get together even if they haven't met there personality's are similar and she is very good with children "Me to I can't wait" she said hugging me once more then walking to the kitchen to meet Jake and Elton
Colby's POV
I was actually really excited to meet Y/N i heard so much great stuff about her i finish getting Lizzy ready and then we go downstairs and i see someone i dont recognize so that must be Y/N "Daddy who is the pretty girl" Lizzy said causing everyone to laugh "I'm Y/n, you must be Lizzy" she said kneeling down to shake her hand "Hi y/n, you're very pretty" Lizzy said causing her to laugh a little for some reason that laugh, made me feel a way I haven't since my ex  and it makes my heart skips beat i quickly leave my thoughts "And thats my Daddy" Lizzy said pointing to me i smile "Hey I'm Colby, and yes I'm her dad" i said shaking her hand as she giggles "I'm Y/n" she said shaking my hand back "Alright we're gonna leave but Kat my car only allows 2 people so where is Y/n gonna go?" Sam questioned  " she could ride with me and Lizzy since Jake and Tara are going Corey's car with Devyn" i said grabbing Lizzy's hand "I'm fine with that" she said smiling "alright lets go" i said as we walk out of the house last, Y/n put Lizzy in her seat while i was getting the car started she then sits in the passenger seat and buckling her seatbelt "So Lizzy what's your favorite animal?" she asked looking at her "koalas and bunnies! Did you know my daddy also likes koalas" she said as i laugh at how proud of me she is "Really?" She said looking at me then smiling "My favorite animal is a bunny also" she said we drove for a few more  hours as Y/n asks more questions about me and Lizzy "Hey Colby, i wanna say for what happened you are a really good father. You're doing an awesome job" she said smiling "Thanks, it was really hard for me at first but once i got the hang of it, it really became easy." I said looking at her for a quick second "if you ever need me to watch her i will, i used to work at a daycare with a lot of kids her age and younger." She said "ok, oh Hey Lizzy we are here" i said finding a parking space and after i parked y/n got out and grabbed Lizzy for me "Now we need to find Sam, Kat, Jake, Tara, Corey, and Devyn." Y/n said holding Lizzy's hand while i hold her  other hand  we keep walking towards the entrance and finally see them "I see them" Lizzy says excited "yep there they are" i said waving to them "ok since we're all together lets go ahead in" Corey says so we all head in and get our tickets Lizzy was holding Y/n's hand while i talked to sam "So Colby what's up with you and Y/n? I can tell you like her" he said his elbow slightly nudging me "dude I don't know Lizzy really likes her and shes really really nice. I just never felt this way idk just don't say anything to her promise." He looked me in the eye and said "I pinky promise. Just be careful" he said i know i can trust him "Daddy Y/n won me a big panda bear!" She said so excited making me smile
1 hour later
y/n walked over with 3 different cotton candy's "Hey Lizzy here's yours and Colby's here's yours'' She said handing me mine "Thanks" i replied as we catch each other's eye staring not looking away as if it was only me and her and everything else disappeared then it stopped she looked away blushing " Hey wanna go take lizzy home shes starting to get very tired" she said pointing at a small Lizzy yawning "Lizzy come here sweetie" i said as she walked over and i picked her up "wanna go home since you're so tired" i asked softly and in response she nodded yes rubbing her eyes and laying her head down on my shoulder "Alright let's go" i said nodding to y/n the others went home but i figured she wanted to stay a while we started walking to the car when i felt an arm slither around my waist and i see y/n resting her head on my side so i put my free arm around her we were still walking then finally arrived to my car
At home
I parked the car and see the most two prettiest girls asleep i carry Lizzy inside to her bed then i walk back out and carry Y/n in to my bed but before going upstairs Sam stops me "Wow you guys just got here its 2:00 in the morning" "yea but they wanted to stay" he made an oh face and headed up behind me i open my door and setting her down on my bed i get changed into joggers and took my shirt off and got in the bed
Play music above i didn't know what song to choose so I choose this
Next morning
Y/n was still in bed so I headed downstairs "Hey Colby I'm guessing you had a fun night" Elton said smiling "Yea I'm gonna make her and Lizzy breakfast in bed so they can relax" I said grabbing two trays and grabbing the ingredients I put a small apron on and start making the ingredients I start mixing everything together and then putting on the pan while that cooks I pour a cup of milk in a glass cup for Y/n and then poured some milk in Lizzy's  cup  I get the pancakes and put them on there plates I head upstairs and give Lizzy her food first "Hey sweetheart here's your food" I said lightly waking her up "okie thanks daddy" she said grabbing her drink I head to my room and see y/n on her phone "hey I made some breakfast in bed for you and Lizzy" I said slightly knocking on the door "Awe thanks Colby" she said smiling "no problem" I said giving her food and giving her kiss on her cheek "sorry I just-" "it's fine thanks Colby" I smiled and walked out and went to get a shower since I didn't get one last night I really like her she makes those butterflies in my stomach come alive I never thought i would feel this way ever again after my ex, but i do, and I'm not gonna rush things unless she feels the same way and she's completely ready
3 months later (Lizzy's Birthday)
Y/n's POV
It's Lizzy's birthday and I told everyone that Kat, Devyn, Tara, Cassie, and me are gonna set it up "I got a princess bouncy house that's gonna go right in the little space of grass we have with a unicorn balloon, the cake has a small princess crown on it and it says happy 5th birthday princess Lizzy and I got her a big stuffed unicorn she seen in the store" I said proud of myself as the girls are shocked "WOW maybe you should give us all birthday party's" Kat said laughing after with all of us giggling "Alright Colby texted me and said they're here" Cassie said "okay you guys get ready I'll get the guys back here and I'll get Lizzy" I said walking through the door and going to the main door "Guys go ahead in I need Lizzy" I did with a wink and getting ok from the guys "Y/n! It's my birthday and I'm this many" she said holding up five fingers "Yea I have something for you come on" I grabbing her hand I shut the main door and head out back "3.....2.....1! Open your eyes" "SURPRISE!" everyone yelled and her mouth opens "Oh thank you thank you thank you!" She said hugging me tightly "Your welcome sweetie" I said hugging her back "I got you a bouncy house to" I said pointing to it "YEA!!!!" She said running to it she got in and jumped and jumped
~Cake time~
"Happy birthday to you happy birthday to you happy birthday dear Lizzy happy birthday to you" everyone sang to her "Make a wish" Devyn said "ok" she said then she blew out the candles
-After party-
"I'm tired mommy I meant y/n" she said which caused me and Colby to look at her along with Kat, Sam, Jake, and Tara I look at Colby then back at her "It's fine want me to give you a bath and put you in your new pajamas" I said kneeling down to her height as everyone else still shocked she said mommy that's the first time she did that "Yea" she said  walking to me and I pick her up and go upstairs "I want to cuddle with you" she said laying her head down on my shoulder "Ok" I said started her bath water "Alright let's get you washed and dressed" I said undressing her and setting her in the tub and then turning the water off I start washing her if as she yawns a few time then I hear someone walking but it stops I look behind me and see Colby smiling "You weren't joking you are really good with kids" he said closing the toilet seat and sitting on it "Thanks yea I worked at a day care for about 4 or 3 years because I love kids so much but I quit wanting to become a hairstylist and move to LA the hair dresser thing didn't work because I realized I just wanted to relax" I said wiping Lizzy's face off "Daddy I'm gonna cuddle with y/n" she said happy "Okay but you'll have to sleep ok" he said smiling she nods ok "Alright let's get you out and dried" I said letting the water go down the drain I reach for her towel to dry her off "Can you step out like a big girl" I said smiling as I back up a bit "I can try" she said she puts her hand on the side of the tub and puts one leg over and gets the other one over to "You did it high five!" I said getting excited "Daddy I did it!" She said jumping "Yea you did I'm proud of you sweetie, after you get dressed you need to go to your room I need to talk to Y/n about adult stuff okay?" He said smiling god that smile his eyes are ocean blue when he's happy and the way his hair falls and the way he dresses it just I don't know but his laugh that laugh makes you wanna smile no matter what you are feeling it just lightens your mood "Ok daddy y/n can you please tuck me in while I wait for you?" Lizzy asked nicely "Sure princess" I said smiling I grab her hand take her to her room and see her toys out "First you need to clean your room after your done cleaning tell me and I'll be back in a few" I said kind of sternly but still nicely "Ok" she said she started clean up so I walked out of her room and closed her door "I told her to clean her room cause her toys were out, but what did you wanna talk about?" I said he pointed his finger from me to his door to let me know to follow him I got in his room and he shut the door "Colby did I do something wrong? If I did-" he cut me off by pressing his soft light pink lips against mine, but it wasn't rough, I didn't know what to do so I stood there shocked which I think it made him scared a bit but ofc I liked him I just didn't know he liked me  "I'm so sorry" he said rubbing his neck I wanted to tell him don't be but I didn't, I know what I need to do I walked closer to him staring in his ocean eyes that could sweep you off of your feet he started to talk "I hope I didn't scare yo-" it was my turn to interrupt him I gently put my hand on his cheeks and pulled myself close to him "It's fine don't worry" I said I leaned in my heart rate got faster and faster the closer I got to his face the sunlight beaming in through his window shining on both of us, are lips slowly connected, leaning in closer as out lips fully connected slowly moving in sync I felt as if fireworks were shooting out into the sky we slowly pulled away I start smiling feeling my cheeks heat up, he put his hand under my chin and slowly lifted my face up "you should go check on Lizzy" he said smiling "Yea" I replied smiling I start walking off but he grabs my hand to stop me then leans in and kisses my cheek "ok you can go now" he said I smiled and opened his door to go Lizzy's I opened her door to see her sleeping with her big unicorn on her bed I turned the light off and closed the door "She's asleep" I said to Colby coming out of his room smiling "ok" he replied I headed off to Devyn room "Hey Devyn?" I said peaking my head in "Yea come in Kats with me" she said so I close the door and I walk over to them smiling "What happens?" Kat says smiling "Yea tell us" Devyn and Kat look like to puppies who want a treat "Well Colby and me kissed..." I said smiling next thing you know they squeal but I hurry and stop them "Shh I don't want Colby to know I'm talking bout it" I said smiling, I just can't seem to get this smile off my face it's like it's permanent "You guys are very cute together, did he ask you out" Devyn asked then my smile faded "No he probably did it just for like a dare" I smiled starting to think of the kiss and his soft plump lips touching mine "Y/n you there? Y/n?" Kat said waving her hands in my face knocking me out of my thoughts "Oh yea sorry" I giggled blushing "Awe you got the crushie's" Devyn said making Kat smile wider "Maybe...."
