Hey,

As we turn to the last page of my first-ever-complete fan fiction book, I would like to take a moment to thank you- a big thank you for all your love, support, and critics!

This has be a pleasantly weird experience- a journey where I grew and I hope, you did too. We have made friends and family, shared punches and puns and made many promises together. Coming to the later, I know I have been terrible at keeping all the promises -my promise to keep the hype up, my promise to make this interesting, my promise that they would meet and be together, my promise that I wouldn't write dead-drop sad things and get into deep feelings, my promise that I wouldn't write in long paragraphs especially the dialogues and of course, that promise of updating  every Tuesday and Thursday and oh, so many more! And for all that feedback and criticism, in the end, you got dialogues in paragraphs, updates that weren't planned and out of sync, unedited grammatically and story-wise inconsistent chapters, and of course, a bad Fab 5, Navya and no Manik and Nandini. Honestly, you couldn't have signed up for worse but definitely, I could have done better.

I fulfilled none of my promises and still bid adieu while you fulfilled all your silent promises of love, support, and honest reviews and still are the one going back empty handed. I'm sorry but I can't help it to further ruin this for you- that's for all my evilness!

Yes- though the last words of the chapter read "The End", remember that the chapter reads "To The End"! I want to tell you, clearly for once, that this isn't the end. The story has many unanswered questions, many smaller parts that have been left hanging in there- if you really feel like stretching and digging into the details. (Well, this strikes out one of my promises to evaluate whether the story was a drag or not.)

The sequel to this, as planned till now, would be "Hamesha, Yours!" and before you hype up for a full-on Manik and Nandini romantic cliche- Sorry, I'll be happy to poke your bubble! This book, like this one, would be a mix of all the stories. There would be digging into the past, there would be burying the past,  there would be building over the past but, what you'll not get would be - "Oh Manik, I love you from the bottom of my heart! Take me away, prince charming!" or the male counterpart of that. I'll be honest- I can't write that cliche, Hindi film dialect. But, before you piss off totally, there would be Manik and Nandini in love, just with spices and salt to proportions! And of course, not everybody's taste is the same and that individuality- I'll respect and we'll together work towards a sweet spot.

Coming back to the overalls, the book will use the essence of the "hamesha" and wrap the story in that (I hope I can manage the bouquet I'm putting together now).

So as usual, just like you stumbled on me and this book with no expectations, please stumble on the sequel too with no expectations. And I mean that even with considering the starting date and chapter-length and all that cliche.

So before I bid you an adieu for this book, I deeply appreciate all your kind words, comments and views (irrespective of what you did and didn't).

Good luck! Stay safe! And once again, I know I have beaten this, thank you so much for being there through this humbly bumpy ride. And, I promise to further ruin this story in the sequel.

Love,
HF
