rare moments,
jewels of time,
approach unknowingly whilst we
mindlessly fixate on the future,
easily neglecting the past.
the beginning of a new era,
ending the troubles of the past until they
r e s u r f a c e,
buried in the midst of time,
leaving remnants of SMASHED jewels.
a day goes by
whereupon a new jewel is discovered,
a diamond of opportunity, reflecting
rays of new beginnings,
into the eyes of the beginner.
