turns,
whilst the mind remains
[trapped]
in the mysterious allure
of printed words on a page.
a mind
conceptualises
the [words] into
a world of turbulent emotion
which ensnares the mind,
the pages flickering seamlessly
whilst the characters develop arduously until-
a book closes,
the conscience reeling
in the aftershock
of another lost world,
stacked on the universe of
indulgence
[literature].
