Little Distractions

Chapter 10

As soon as I hung up the phone Luke gave me a curious look in confusion of what happened. "Luke we have to go to Ashtons at 5 he has a girlfriend and wants us to meet her!" I said excidetly. I raced upstairs abandoning Luke and threw on a black opened cardigan.

"Aww come on I wanted to take you somewhere," He whined. Running back down the stairs trippeed over Luke who was now infront of me and fell face first tumbling down the stairs. With every step I rolled down I became more and more dizzier. All I saw were my feet going round and round. After I fell down nearly 20 steps I landed on my back on the floor next to the last step. I heard the sound of foot steps come flying down the stairs rapidly from behind me.

"Fuck! Willow! Are you Okay? Willow! Can you hear me?" Everything turned into a blur as I closed my eyes for a second and suddenly sprung up from the ground.

"You still can if you don't mind us stopping at the peircing shop on the way back. "

"What?" Was all that came out of his now dropped open mouth.

"I want a nose peircing. Is anything wrong with that?"

"NO NO. I just- I- I'm surprised yo woke up so easily like that." He giggled quietly. "You looked pretty knocked out. Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine. I just tripped a bit. It happens everyonce in a while." I laughed

"Come on lets get out of here before mum gets home." He looked at me with a smile on his face trying not laugh at the fact that I blew falling down the stairs off, just like it was no big deal. Then he came back to reality and followed me out the door.

"We can take my car I want to take you somewhere special."

"Okay," I smiled.

We drove down the main road for a while until I desperatley needed some music. I turned on the radio and a blink182 song blasted through the small speakers. I jumped at how loud it was causing luke to laugh a little. He reached over and turned the dial down making the music softer, I actually thought this song was pretty good so I started humming along. I looked over at Luke who had this huge smile plastered on his face and was slightly blushing.

"You like them don't you." He aimed his beautiful light blue eyes into mine making me swallow my words.

"Yeah." I finally choked out smiling down at the ground.

"They're a good band." I smiled in reply. I focused my attention back out the window and saw a sign that said "Willow lake"

"Luke!" I gasped. "Holy shit! It says my name!" Way to go captain obvious. I felt like a little kid again. He chuckled and noded his head.

"No duh." He jumped out of his side of the car and ran to mine opening it for me.

"Thank you." I said.

"My pleasure princess." He smirked. Crap he used pleasure and princess in the same sentence. That was the last badass remark set me off. I couldn't take it anymore why couldnt I just be his girl friend already. Before I knew it I quickly shot a comment back at him. I chuckled and teased "Pleasure princess?" I said it more in a flurtatious way then questionable.

"Huh first the nose piercing and now dirty talk. What have I done to you," he chuckled deeply.

"Maybe its for the good." I replied stretching to kiss his cheek making him blush. We walked onto the dock in the lake and took a seat on the edge. he wrapped his armaround my shoulders and turned his head towards me. He noticed me gazing at the beautiful shining water. In the distance you could see a bunch of islands and coves covered in trees. I glanced down to where Luke was now looking. It was a reflection of us in the water. We looked really cute together. Cuter then being known as just friends.
