Chapter 5:
The TwinsLilian and Draco had spent their entire weekend working on Lilian's reading, and had left very astonished Ana to discover they had finished their homework in less then an hour. Lilian's nightmares kept Draco and her awake most nights as well, though, if Draco was ever annoyed at her for it he didn't say.
The owls swooped into the dinning hall on on Monday morning and a letter was dropped upon Lilian's empty plate.
Lilian opened it and read slowly.
Hello Harry,
Heard ye had a free period and was wondering if ye and ye's friends want to come down to me hut.
At te edge of Forbidden Forest,
Hagrid.Lilian handed the letter to Draco, who read it quickly and raised an eyebrow at her.
"Your going aren't you?" He asked, though it didn't sound like a question.
"Will you come with?" Lilian asked already knowing his answer. Lilian pulled off her glasses for no more then two seconds, though long enough for Draco to see her puppy eyes, she found out that it worked rather well.
"Fine." Draco caved.
Draco and Lilian went to History of Magic and Transfiguration, before going towards Hagrid hut. They knocked on the door and heard a thump before the sound foot steps and the door opened to reveal Hagrid.
"Heya 'arry!" He said before looking at Draco and greeting him with hesitant, "Heya Draco."
Hagrid let them in but the moment Lilian stepped in she wanted to run back out. There was an extremely large dog laying in the far corner of the hut, it reminded Lilian of her Aunt Marge and she shook, but didn't retreat.
"'hats Fang he's ah big coward. Wouldn't hurt ah soul." Hagrid informed them.
Lilian looked at Fang closer before making up her mind and walking over to him, she crouched down and he opened his eyes, but she didn't back up. Lilian reached a hand out and scratched gently behind his ears. Fangs tail wagged and he licked her wrist, Lilian had feeling not many of the students spent time with him.
Lilian stood up and made her way over to the table where Draco had made himself comfortable. It amazed Lilian greatly how he could feel relaxed everywhere he went.
"Hagrid, how old is Fang?" Lilian asked to make conversation, Hagrid lit up the question.
"Oh, he's 'bout four, but 'e's acts like 'e's been liven longer den me."
Lilian laughed lightly and they continued the conversation Draco chiming in every now and then. Hagrid's favorite topic that they somehow started was dragons, he named over thirty species and spoke highly of a past student named Charlie Weasley.
By the time Lilian and Draco left for lunch Lilian wished they didn't have to go, she enjoyed speaking with Hagrid and refused to compare him to her uncle any longer, although he did refuse to tell her about his errand to Diagon Alley when they first met.
.~.~.~.~.~.
Draco went to lunch well Lilian went to grab their books for the next class, although she was abruptly stopped by two identical red heads who grabbed her arms and dragged her through a portrait of fruit, and into the kitchens.
"Your-"
"Harry-"
"Potter-"
"Correct?" They asked.
"Yes? What do you need?" Lilian asked looking at the two in front of her.
"I'm Fred," the boy to Lilian's right said offering a hand to which she shook.
"And I'm George," the boy to her left said, offering his to which she also shook with a small nod.
They both didn't move.
"Can I help you?" Lilian asked tilting her head. They were both still starring at her as if looking for something. Then Fred's eyes lit up.
"The glasses!" He yelled, George snapped his fingers as if his twin was a genius and nodded.
"Can I borrow you glasses, Harry?" George asked, Lilian didn't like the way he said her name.
"I'm sorry but I need these, I'm almost blind." Lilian said hoping they'd back off.
"Please, I mean we wanted to see if someone named Lilian was around." Fred said and Lilian went stif as a rock.
"Who?" Lilian managed.
"Oh come off it Harry, me and Fred know, just take off the glamour glasses." George wined. Lilian's eyes went wide and she started to back up, before Fred put his hands up in a mock of surrender.
"Wait, we don't want to tell anyone, we're just curious if we figured out the biggest story in the History of Magic."
Lilian didn't know if they were lying or tricking her, she had heard of the school pranksters of Griffendor, but didn't know what to think of them, I haven't even made it a week and four people know, Merlin why me!
Lilian removed her glasses and both the red heads gasped.
