Chapter 4

Jack's POV:

Its nighttime and I was really about to blow of Amanda's ramblings.

"Honey please let me in! I will not fight with you again please?"

"Just go away!" I retorted.

"Honey please! I freezing out here!" She said.

*sighs*

"Seriously Amanda, you are so getting in my nerves." I complied while opening the door.

"Thank you Jack!" She said hugging me.

Trying hard to get out of her embrace I said, "Stop doing this"

"You Jack I really miss you! Will you be my boy again? Please don't leave me! I can't live without you!"

"How many times do I have to told you! I won't!" I said.

"No! Please?" She begged. Touching my face and holding it she brought her face close to mine and kissed me. She kissed me long and hard that I had trouble escaping her. Because of my struggle I banged against the door and she kissed me relentlessly. I just heard a huge gasp and that's when I saw Annabeth in front of my house. My house! I managed to get out of Amanda's hold but it's too late, Annabeth was running. I was so angry and I turned to Amanda.

"Is this your plan?" I shouted at her.

"Yes, and turns out I won!" She laughed.

"Get out of this place now!"

"Well I will give you time just now Jack. But remember you will always go back to me."She said before she goes out of the door.

*CRASH!!*

I can't control my anger anymore and started to throw things. My poor Annabeth! Now will she believe me when I would explain to her everything?


Annabeth's POV:

It's all a lie! It's all a lie! Gosh! How can I be so stupid! Knowing Amanda, that crazy witch! Ugh!!! I hate myself! Just when Annabeth! Just when will I put in my mind that Jack isn't for me! That I can never be loved by the one I fell in love with!

I just ran to my house and directly ran into my room. Luckily my parents are in a business trip. If they were here they would just barge in my room and ask some questions. I jump into my bed and cried and cried. I can't help my tears from puring out. It hurts so much. Knowing I don't stand a chance to him. I'm so terrible.

*RIIINNGG*

Someone's calling me but I just ignored it. I don't have the mood to talk to someone.

*RIIINNGG*

It rang once again and I just turned off my phone. And I continue to cry my heart out.

After 10 - 15 mins. I was shocked that somebody gets in the house. I thought it was a robber but when my bedroom door opens there is Mandy.

"Seriously Annabeth! What is wrong with you?" Mandy asked with a worried expression.

"I've been calling you twice and then you turn off your phone! Seriously what happened? And why are you crying?" She asked as she approached me.

I can't contain it anymore and cry once more and said to her, "I was tricked! Amanda told me that Jack likes me! And I believe her! She said that I would meet up with him at his house but when I got there they are kissing! Kissing Mandy! They are still together! She said they broke up! Just GOSH I'm stupid! Stupid enough to wish that someday Jack and I will be together but its not going to happen in reality!"

"Oh sweety, it's alright... Cry it all out. Remember I told you about my plan? For sure they will both regret it Annabeth! Just remember Handy Mandy is here!" She said.

Hearing her so called A.K.A. that she really hate I laughed.

"Now that's my girl! Be strong! So can I have a sleepover here? So I can nurse my bestfriend's bleeding heart?" She asked with puppy eyed expression.

"Okay okay! Thank you Mandy! Love you!" I hugged her.

"Oh, that so sweet! Of course I love you too Annabeth."

And so she stayed by my side all night and make me smile always.
