Growing up without a father figure people question how much will they accomplish without two parents. If they'll turn out to be a hoes. Maybe they will turn to drugs or drop out of school and even become teenage mothers, who have slept with to many men to know who the father of their child is. They expected them to fail in life not graduate high school, not move on to college.
They completely underestimated a woman's capability and strength to be better then the environment that they came from. They assumed these girls would fail in life because they were statistics of a black girls who grew up with a single mother's and no father. But what they forget to realize is a black woman's strength can endure the worst of it all and still come out on top.
Shontae Williams is a dark skin goddess. Her complexion is so vibrant, she represents milk chocolate. She stood at 5 feet with one of the biggest smiles ever, she doesn't have the biggest boobs ever but she has an ass to fix that. As a young girl her shape always get guys caught up. Shontae was beautiful inside and out.She grew up without a father's touch wasn't a statistic she proved everyone from her hood and everyone in her family she was going somewhere in life. Shontae grew up in one of the worst neighborhoods to live in South Ozone, Queens. She grew up seeing prostitutes come out at night and she actually lived with one. After her mother had her, she turned to the streets for fast money to help put a rough over Shontae's head, till she died from a gun violence. Her mother stole money from this drug dealer and she died because of that. Shontae ended up moving in with her grandmother and grandfather at 12.While her grandmother was battling cancer, she made a promise to herself to finish out high school and graduate so she can be better than her environment.
Chassidy Banks 5'8 with her caramel skin. She has a shape of model perfect height with the skinniest waist. She looked half native but she was all black. She had the silkiest pretty hair, she got that from her dad's family. As a child she was a little boy in the shape area till she got to high school, her super model body kicked in after 16. The curvy tiny waist with a dip in the hip and her little butt was getting boys in trouble with her brothers.Chassidy is coming straight out of Hollis, Queens. Her mother worked two jobs to put a rough over her and her two older brothers heads. Chassidy and her brothers all had the same father, their father died from gang violence. Her dad was one of the biggest drug dealers from Queens, he died when she was 4. Her older brothers followed straight into their dad's footsteps when they got to high school. Although her brothers were older they protected and treated her like they were her father. She appreciated it because she really didn't remember moments with her father. Her brothers had more of a relationship with their father because they were older. Kaden who was 6 and Kadeem who was 10 at the time of their dad's death knew what he was like, remembered his smile, remembered how he would give them lectures when they got in trouble. Everyone in the streets knew their dad as Tone and when they walked the streets of Hollis they were respected because of who their dad was to the community. But Chassidy refused to be like her brothers and turn to the streets for fast money, she wanted something better for herself.
Both of these girls formed a friendship because of that, they were each other's ride or dies. They met in middle school when Shontae transferred her 8th grade year when she moved in with her grandparents. Chassidy took a liking to Shontae because they had a lot in common at such a young age, they understood each other when no one else did. Shontae was the only child on her mothers side, she always wanted a sister, and she found that in Chassidy. These two girls would take on life together and show everyone how wrong they were about them. You know what they say "BLACK GIRLS ROCK," and they surely do.
