"i'm so nervous." taehyung murmurs as he looks down on the ground. jihyun seems to notice her babysitter getting frustrated, therefore she walked towards taehyung and hugged him tightly. "iwt's owkei! eommwa and appwa are nwice!" jihyun said while looking at taehyung who smiled at her.

taehyung picked jihyun up and left a peck on her forehead, "you're so kind jihyun, you got it from your hyung, right?" taehyung asked the kid as he steals a glance at jungkook. jihyun giggled and nodded.

jihyun idolizes her older brother and she wants to be like jungkook once she's grown up.

jungkook sighs in relief and ruffles taehyung's hair and did the same to jihyun, "i'm so lucky to have you both." jungkook smiled towards them and embraced them for a hug, taehyung humming in satisfaction.

suddenly the main door opened.

the thrio brought their gaze at the main door and saw jungkook's parents looking at them with a bright smile on their face. taehyung sets jihyun down the floor and bowed towards them in ninety degrees causing the parents to chuckle.

"you don't have to be so formal towards us, taehyung." mrs. Jeon said and giggled as they made their way towards the couch and sat down as the taehyung and jungkook sat at the space beside them with jihyun in between.

"so, you're willing to be jihyun's babysitter?" mr. Jeon asked calmly. taehyung looked at the kid and back at the parents before nodding. "yes, mr. Jeon".

mrs. jeon hummed. it's been tough since they can't look out for jihyun due to the amount of work they're handling. so it's really nice to have someone they can rely on to babysit jihyun with jungkook.

"if the person who will be babysitted is fine with it."

jihyun hopped onto taehyung's lap and hugged him giggling. "i'm fwine with hyungie! i wove him!" taehyung softly chuckled and hugged back responsing with an 'i love you too'.

is it normal to get jealous of your 5 years-old sister? he thought, straightening his lips.

mr. jeon smiled softly. they've never seen jihyun this comfortable with someone new before. she used to be hiding behind their legs but now she's clinging onto taehyung.

something about taehyung's aura made jihyun feel safe.

"then it's all settled. but there will be rules. i'll handle the payment." taehyung smiled at them as he nodded slightly, feeling a bit more in ease after his mental breakdown earlier. "i won't disappoint you mr. and mrs. jeon." 

"that's great, honey! here's the rules. we'll give you the payment once we've allowed you to stop or whenever you want to." mrs.jeon paused only to give the older a paper with the rules written down on it before looking at jungkook who's sitting beside taehyung.

"son, we'll be gone for months. we don't know when we'll come back but please take care of the house and your sister and of course including taehyung."

Jungkook sadly smiled at her and nodded. he and jihyun never had some quality time with their parents but they understood knowing that they're working hard for their future.

mrs. and mr. jeon stood up from their seat as taehyung and jungkook mirrored their action with jihyun in jungkook's arms since she wants to be carried by her older brother.

"see you jungkook, see you jihyun." mrs.jeon kissed both of their foreheads and bid them a goodbye, both of her thumbs at each of her children's cheeks with a reassuring smile plastered on her face. "i love you both."

Jungkook smiled and responded with an 'i love you too'. the same goes to jihyun but she said it more delightful than jungkook. mr. jeon did the same before driving away from home.

jungkook closed the door softly as he sets jihyun down only for her to run towards her room to play with her stuffed toys. the younger flopped on the couch and huffed making taehyung worried.

not only he sat beside him but he hugged him also, washing off all of the worries jungkook had as he smiled.

"thanks, tae." jungkook pulled taehyung closer by placing him inbetween his legs and embraced him while he rests his chin on the older's head. taehyung giggled and settled his arms infront of him with his head on jungkook's chest.

"i'm always here whenever you need somebody, ggukie." he mumbled and drifted off to sleep with the younger.
