Chapter 11 B2: WHERE IT ALL STARTED

Kody's POV

Being alone with a brat is annoying and tiring, i'm like being chased in a maze.

"Koodddyyyy~~~ why don't we sleep on the bed and playy??~~" she said while catching up to me,

Ugh. Seriously isn't she tired!?. What did I do to deserve this?, I thought, as I find a way to ignore her silly doing.

Living with her is going to be harder and more annoying than I thought, I stopped and grabbed her shoulders as I dragged her to the living room and sat her down on the couch. "So what game are we playing kody~?" She said in a seductive voice as she slided her fingers on my chest.

I felt disgusted and quickly slapped it away, I looked deep into her eyes and said "Look Adeina, I know your my fiancé and all but please understand that I have limits I only wanted to marry you because of personal reasons alright?" Her gleeful and yet doll looking face turned into a cold and gloomy exrpession that makes the atmosphere between us a little uncomfortable.

I've never seen this side of her before but all I could ever think of was that charm I gave her when we were little. I told my mother to buy a gift for her because it was her Mom's and Step-Dad's Anniversary, they planned to celebrate it at xxx resort not much people came only me my Dad and their siblings. We all treated them as family we were pretty close that time my Dad enjoyed it and so did me and Adeina.

It was the beginning of summer vecation when we received and invitation from an old friend of mine that lived in the outskirts of town, we were the first ones to greet them in the town since people are quite busy here. We offered them apple pie on their first day that id hand made by my Dad. As days passed we became closer like relatives we visit them bery often and welcomed them into our home when they have the time.

But moving back to their anniversary, we read the invitation and looked at eachother with a smile "I can't believe they are inviting us to a resort like this" Dad said, I rolled my eyes and smirked "It's not like it's our first time Dad besides we took Mom to fancy/beautiful places before" I replied Dad chuckled and just patted my head and just went back to his room to change.

I sighed. And just change quickly too since it'd be rude to be late, i've never cared about something like this actually

I got in the car as my dad gave a list for Sherry and Silver to do, but while waiting I fished my phone from my pocket and started to text Adeina saying that we're on our way, I scrolled through my contacts when I suddenly stopped on a number that made me stopped myself from doing anything. You might be wondering who's number was it, of course It's Mom's she used to text me everytime even though she is right next to me or just in the house doing nothing.

But looking at it now made me smile and just continued what was I doing.

then got in the the car afterwards. He turned on the engine and started to drive, just the usual expression on his face. I don't read him this much but I just got curious what the new family will turn my dad into. It's been a long time since we have a long drive together as father and son

I am still kind of worried though since we didn’t know what kind of family are they, but since they invited us there’s no need to be cautious I guess I mean it’s just a party.
