Chapter 10 B2: MISSING

Lumine's POV

The skies are still beautiful as always, the green meadows that gave a sweet smell around the house and the coffee brewed nicely on the counter.

I closed my eyes and let the breeze touch my skin that made me twitch a little, as the coffee's scent lingers the room, and my tail waggling. "The breeze feels so good It makes me feel relaxed" I said to myself. "Oh really now?" My mother replied as her sunglasses reflects the sunlight and her red lips shining bright

She chuckled then sipped her green tea. It was so long since me and mother done this, I really missed this feeling it makes me so happy.

I layed my head down and looked directly up the sky, then stared for a few seconds until tears fell "not as happy as I used to with Kody....." I mumbled and smiled, I wonder how is he doing? I hope he makes Adeina happy when they get married. I want to see you happy for the last time,

I stared at the sky a little more and sighed.

"Hey Lumine?" My mother called I stood up then turn away for a second to wipe the mark of my tears and faced her smiling, "what is it mother?" I asked. She slowly stood up and took off her sunglasses, then walked towards me

"Lumine, honey I don't know if you'll agree to this but--" I cut her off

"It's okay mother i'll agree" I said

She paused and stared at me for a minute then let out a loud sigh then smiled.

"Your suitors Are coming later would it be okay? I mean you will touch the birth stone soon..." She said nervously squeezing her hands tightly. I stayed quiet, I'm still traumatized from the incident back at the mansion but I guess we could try again, yes I still love Kody, but in this country raising a child alone is illegal so I must have a partner.

"Lumine.... If you don't want to--" I cut her off again and raised my head looking into her eyes.

"Yes, it would be okay mother" I replied, she looked at me in shock then suddenly hugged me tightly, "i'm so glad you agreed...but is it really okay? I mean I have a feeling you're still In Love with Kody" She said as she looked at me weirdly.

"M-m-mom!! We broke up you saw it right?" I yelled and turn away blushing the covering my ears. My mother laughed then slapped my back, I flinched. "oww! What was that for?" I said as I tried to rub it, "for lying to me" she said then laughed again but this time louder until our neighbour heard her.

"Mom your so embarrassing" I said then chuckled. "Oh, you know that's what your father likes about me. My laugh!" She said as she hugged me again "don't worry those boys are hotties" she whispered. I blushed then pushed her away making her laugh but then controlled it.

"Seriously you're so easy to read"

Kody's POV

"WHAT!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE HAVE TO LIVE TOGETHER!?" I yelled as a loud bang from the table made my father flinched, "Kody it's Adeina's father's choice you have to respect that" he replied and stood up calming me down. Adeina looked all calm and kept looking at me with a smirk on her face, "Kody relax it's not me okay?" She said. I sat back down and suddenly saw an envelope under the leg of my chair, 'what's that?' I thought then looked at them.

They we're staring at me like crazy so I made an excuse to bend down and get the envelope. "I need to tie my shoe" I said then quickly hid the envelope in my pocket. "Now back to the living together thing tell me a good reason to accept this"
