Chapter 16

Taylor's POV

Yesterday wasn't all that good for me, it was terrible! My team lost the bowling game and I had another argument with Johnny. I just got finished drying myself off from taking a shower and I put on my outfit. I went downstairs to the kitchen where my mom just got finished cooking breakfast

"Good morning sweetie!" She said as she handed me a plate of pancakes, eggs and bacon.

"Good morning mom." I dryly said.

"Something wrong dear?" She asked me.

"Eh, just the usual I guess." I said.

"What's the usual?" She asked.

"School and stuff that's all." I shrugged.

"Did something happened?" She asked.

"It's just... Me and Johnny had another argument yesterday when we went bowling." I said.

"Oh, what was it about?" She sat down at the table across from me.

"It was about that prank at the water park the other day." I said.

"A prank? What do you mean?" She wrinkled her eyebrows.

"Me and my friends were walking on the net bridge when someone cut it and caused all of us to fall in the water." I explained.

"Do you know who did it?" She asked.

"Well I believe Kadence did it, but Johnny believes Kyla did it." I said.

"Isn't Kyla the girl that's been giving you trouble all the time?" She asked.

"Yeah but I don't think she did it because Kadence literally had scissors in her back pocket." I said.

"Which is why I've been trying to tell her that Kadence didn't do it but she won't believe me." Olivia said walking into the kitchen.

"Kadence seems like a sweet girl, I don't think that she would do something like that." Mom said.

"She was hanging around Kyla all day at the water park." I said.

"Maybe Kyla forced her to do it Taylor." Olivia said.

"Well maybe it's all just a misunderstanding Taylor. I'm sure that this problem will be solved soon." Mom smiled.

"Yeah maybe." I shrugged.

After breakfast me and Liv went upstairs to brush our teeth. Once we were done we left for school.

At school we're in English class even though I hate going because of Mrs. Baker, she's so annoying! Anyway me, Olivia, Emma, Brynn, Tate, Kadence, Lauren, Jaeda, Ruth, Victoria, Kyla, Mari and McKenzie were all in the same class.

"So how are things with you and Johnny Tay?" Tate asked me.

"Terrible. We had another argument at the bowling alley yesterday." I whispered.

"Oh that sucks, maybe the two of you will work something out soon." Tate smiled.

"Thanks Tate." I returned a smile.

"Nunez, Mcrae, no talking!" Ms. Baker said.

I rolled my eyes and continued to do my work.

After English class we went to lunch and talked some more about the water park prank.

"Seriously Taylor, you have to believe that Kadence had nothing to do with the prank." Olivia said.
