Star Wars Oneshots [DISCONTINUED]

Rescue Pt.1 (Obitine)

 This is for @leiaskygal <3 I hope you like it! Also sorry it took me so long

The Oneshot contains some scenes and dialouges from the season 5 episode 16 of Star wars the clone wars which aren't mine and 100% belong to lucasfilms and  in some points  it is gonna be a bit of a rewrite in the beginning but it is mostly my own plot. I've tried to use some more 'special' words? Idk how I should call it i just used more of 'extravagant' words. No this isn't the right word either just read for yourself if you have read the first oneshot I think you'll know what I mean.  Also good news for you guys this contains a happy ending!

3rd person p.o.v:

Obi wan approached anxiously to the temple briefing room and entered the dark room, which was only lighten up by the holotable in the middle of the room and the lamps on the bottom of the walls.

Growing more anxious as he saw yoda's concerned and sadden look in his light brown eyes. He knew something was wrong. He had sensed it in the force; someone was in great danger perhaps someone close to him he was not sure. He looked to yoda clearly confused why he had summoned him.

"Received a message for you from mandalore we have"

master yoda told Obi wan. Master Ki adi mundi played the holo record on the large holotable and the blue holo image of the duchess Satine appeared. While she spoke, she always looked around her alerted that someone would show up.

„This is a message for Obi wan Kenobi. I have lost mandalore. My people have been massacred and Almec is now the prime minister. I cannot explain everything now but Almec has the support of the crime families.", a loud thud sound came from the background as if someone was hit hard, Satine speeded up asking desperately for help "Obi wan I need your help."

The holo message ended with satine surrounded by three mandalorions in black and red amour with their blaster pointed on her. She seemed to be desperate and in a miserable situation. Obi wan knew her well enough to know that something terrible must have happened when she called him for help. Satine was always a strong woman who refused to call for help since she always had in control and did not need anyone's help until now.

His anxiety and fear for the duchess raised immensely but he knew he had to be carefully since he was surrounded by two Jedi masters, who were both on the council. When he asked if the Jedi could help her, he already knew that mandalores neutrality and the fact that the seperatists aren't involved would not allow the Jedi to help and the senate would not send aid to a neutral system. Nevertheless, he was encouraged that he had to help he could not ignore her flee for help.

He was aware that this would be solo mission. Surely, Anakin would help him if he asked him but he did not want to bring him or others in danger just because of his own personal mission.

A mission he knew he should not do, a mission that was wrong not because of the rescue but for the reason why he had to save her, it was wrong for him because it was against the Jedi codex. It was wrong for him to feel so desperate, anxious and fearful for the woman he loved who was in danger.

Meanwhile on mandalore:

Almec entered the tall, massive palace of glass fearful for his life and subservient. As he approached closer, he bowed his head low to symbolize his obedience towards maul who stood with his back to the entrance and thus the prime minister.

Right before the throne with his view to the orange glass, art that decorated the wall right behind the throne and showed a piece of the mandolorian history.

Almec reported on the escape attempt "Satines accomplices have escaped including the renegade Death Watch soldiers." he cleared up his throat and ignored the feeling of the lump in his throat, which has grown out of fear that pinched him the air. „But we will find them" he assured.
"The duchess appears to have contacted the Jedi just as anticipated."

Maul responded calmly to almec's surprise „Good. You have done well." without thinking much about it, Almec, asked the question, which was buzzing in his head "What are we going to do about the Jedi?" as soon as he finished his question Savage gritted his teeth at almec as if the Jedi were some sort of nasty, annoying bugs. Maul however answered calmly with a devilish smile on his face knowing the Jedi will not be problem for him

"Because of Mandalores neutrality, which you as the legitimated prime minister of mandalore will maintain, the Jedi have no jurisdiction here". The next words that he out spoke he became with each word of the sentence angrier and his words became full of hatred. „If Kenobi wants to rescue his... Friend. He will have to come alone" He spit the word friend out if it was poison and his eyes deepened the yellow color in it.

Obi wan p.o.v:

I walked out of the briefing room thinking about a plan. This had to be a simple in and out mission. I knew I could not use any of the republic ships. So first off I had to find a ship I could use, but I did not know how I am supposed to find a ship that quick. It is not as if I had enough credits just to buy a new one or that I have one privately. Suddenly I knew exactly where to get a ship from, or should I say whom from. Eager and fast I got to Anakin's and Ahsoka's chamber and knocked on their Master/Padawan room door but there was no response.

My patience fading away I knocked again on his door just to realize that he probably was not in his chamber and so was ahsoka. Getting more frustrated and inpatient I was thinking where they could be, but I had no idea.

I had to come down and keep my mind clear. Just getting frustrated would not help satine out of there. I took a deep breath and tried to ignore my worries for now. I needed a clear mind to think straight.

Gaining back patience and calmness, I knew where I could find Anakin. Walking to hangar 7, where Anakin's, Ahsoka's and my Jedi Starfighter ships stood, I saw him working with his Padawan on their ships. I tried to soothe my mind and emotions so Anakin would not find out about Satines imprisoning. I walked towards them and build up my force shields up so, that Anakin could not read my emotions nor my mind. "Hey master. Is there a new mission for us?" Anakin asked without looking up to me.

"No, but there is something you could help me with." I responded with my anxiety rising up a bit. "As long as I don't have to teach younglings. Sure. How can I help? "I need a ship," I said knowing that he would start to ask questions as soon as I would finish my sentence." I need the twilight to be exact", he stopped working on his ship and look up to me."Why don't you just use your Starfighter?" I started to think I needed an excuse now but what should I tell him." Oh, you know that is uhm a personal mission. There is ah uh- something I need to take care of," I could not say if he believed me or not I just hoped he did.

So yeah that is the first part of this Oneshot!

I am actually kinda proud of this. I hope that is was not too boring for the beginning but this part is needed for a good introduction so that people who haven't seen the episode also understand the context.Feedback would be great and very helpful for me and if you liked this part please leave a vote^^
