(Odette and Sinbad still staring)
Rat: Captain, we're ready to go!
Sinbad: Huh, oh good. Thank you.
Rat: You're welcome.
(Rat goes back to his post)
(Sinbad turns around to see Odette going to her cabin)
(Sinbad sighs)
(Oliver clears his throat)
Sinbad: What?
Oliver: You know what. Go. Tell her. Now.
(Pause)
(Sinbad sighs)
(Oliver gives Sinbad a look)
Sinbad: Alright, alright. I'm going.
(Sinbad goes to Odette's cabin)
(Sinbad knocks on the door)
(Odette opens the door)
Odette: Sinbad? What is it?
Sinbad: Can I come in?
(Odette looks at Sinbad)
Odette: Alright.
(Sinbad goes in Odette's room)
Odette: So, what do you want?
Sinbad: Remember when you asked me if I had something more to say to you when I told you that I wanted you to train with me?
Odette: Yes.
Sinbad: Well, I'm going to tell you.
Odette: OK, then tell me.
(Sinbad takes a deep breath)
Sinbad: Do you remember how we first met?
Odette: Um, I think I stole your money bag, you froze me with a freezing spell, unhooded me and realized I wasn't a man.
Sinbad: (Laughs) Then you hit me with a rock and hit Oliver unconscious.
(Odette laughs)
Odette: I'm sorry.
Sinbad: It's alright. You were just protecting yourself. But at least you gave me back my money bag.
Odette: That's true. But Sinbad, where is this going?
Sinbad: Don't worry I'm getting there. Anyway, when I saw you again at New York, I knew I had to follow you. And your father letting you come with us to get the pen, it was the greatest opportunity to get to know you better. (Ha) Heck. I get to find out that you're half alien, which by the way, I think that's cool.
Odette: You do?
Sinbad: Yeah. And that's why I love you.
(Odette looks at Sinbad with a shocked look on her face)
Odette: You love me?
Sinbad: Yes. But if you don't feel the same way for me, then I'll leave you alone.
(Odette looks at Sinbad tenderly)
(Short pause)
Sinbad: I'll see you later.
(Sinbad starts to leave)
Odette: Sinbad.
(Sinbad turns around)
(Odette walks over to him)
Odette: I don't want you to leave. I love you too.
(Sinbad sighs happily)
(Sinbad hugs Odette)
(Sinbad and Odette look at each other)
(They lean in to kiss)
Rat: Land Ho!!
(Sinbad and Odette go on deck)
