(In the story, the reader will be 30 years old, and Rex will be 5 years old. I don't own the movie Illegal Aliens. The credit goes to whoever made it. Enjoy.)
(Y/N)'s POV
I'm making breakfast for me and my little Rex. She's not actually my daughter, but I found her at my doorstep in a basket when she was just a baby, so I took her in. Even though it's been almost five years, she's already attached to me.
While I'm making breakfast, I felt Rex tugging on my pant leg and she said,"Momma, I'm thirsty."
I picked her up and asked,"What do you want to drink, honey?"
"Grape juice, please?"She said. Other kids love to drink soft drinks like soda, but Rex loves to drink different kinds of fruit juice and that's what I give her to drink, besides water.
I grabbed her favorite sippy cup and poured some juice into it and gave it to her.
"Here you go, sweetheart." I said. She sat at the table with her drink and she said,"Thank you, Momma."
"You're welcome, sweetie." I said back to her. After I finished cooking breakfast, I got Rex's plate ready before I got mine done. She already finished her plate and got out of her chair, but she fell on her knees and started crying in pain.
"Momma!" Rex said, whimpering. I quickly grabbed the first-aid kit and I cleaned and bandaged her knees up. I kissed her boo-boos and I asked," Does that feel better, honey?"
She nodded yes and continued whimpering in pain. "Don't worry, honey. You'll be okay, and I promise." I said to her in a soothing voice.
Rex smiled at me and said,"Thank you, Momma. You're the best mom ever. You're the only person who's capable enough to take care of me. In the future if I ever have kids, I wanna name my daughter, (Y/N) Jr. After my perfect mother."
I started tearing up and I hugged her with a lot of affection. "I love you so much, Rex." I said to her. "I love you too, Momma." She said back to me. We continued hugging for the rest of the day until we went to bed and fell asleep.
30 years later...
I'm taking a nap in my bed, but I got woken up by my 35 year old daughter, Rex.
She gave me a very, happy grin and said, "Hey, Momma. It's been a while since I've seen you."She's right. We haven't seen each other in years, but she's been calling me and sending me cards and presents for different occasions. She told me she got a job at her own restaurant, and that she earned a lot of money.
She also told me that she married a man named R/B/N (Rex's boyfriend's name) and had a son and daughter. She named them (Y/N) Jr. and R/S/N (Rex's son's name). When I got out of bed, I was hugged by two little kids.
"Grandma (Y/N)!" My two grandkids said. (Y/N) Jr. looks just like me but with Rex's green eyes, R/S/N looks like a male version of Rex with a few grey streaks in his hair.
"Happy Mother's day, Momma. I wanted to surprise you, but I almost forgot about it." Rex said. I told it's okay as I hand the two kids back to her.
"Can we stay with Grandma (Y/N) during the weekend, mommy?" R/S/N asked. Rex chuckled and ruffled her son's hair and said,"Sure, sweetie, and I know that your sister wants to, too."
We all did a group hug, but they were careful with me. I love my new family, and Rex does, too. Our new life is really great.
