Katsuki Bakugou Pov
I walked up the front steps of her porch. For some reason, I couldn't shake off my nerves. After a bit of contemplating, I decided to ring the doorbell. She answered the door with her usual smile. I subconsciously blushed a bit and walked right past her.
While walking to the living room, I internally scolded myself for just walking past. It was just us in the house, and I was about to strike up a conversation, the damn doorbell rang, it Deku and Icy Hot. I growled as they walked in, talking to her, something I clearly struggled to do.
Soon, the rest of the class seemed to pile in. Many people brought random assortments of snacks, and they started to eat like they haven't eaten in weeks. The idiots joked and fooled around, but I just sat there.
(y/n) turned on a movie after a bit. I let her sit next to me, planning to make my move if she got scared. She seemed to enjoy the movie, and I just waited or the scares. Jumpscare after Jumpscare, she didn't flinch once.
I admired her bravery, but it was hard to make a move or even try to be nice when there are no opportunities. The movie ended, and the whole class seemed to be shaking, everyone except her.
With her usual happy smile, she got up and turned the TV off. "so what does everyone want to do now?" she asked, Everyone, suggested different party games, and we started to play some.
The first one was truth or dare. I sat in the circle and either answered the questions or denied the dares. They called me a party pooper, but I could care less about what they thought of me.
Truth or dare lasted a while, but nothing exciting happened. I discovered out a few worthless secrets, but none that could kindle up any interest.
We moved onto Never have I ever. Nothing crazy happened there. It was all the same, worthless truths and undetected lies. Someone suggested that we surf the dark web, and we actually made and attempt.
Once we downloaded the browser, we made the dumb decision of clicking a chatroom link. The class hovered around the laptop, even I wanted to see it. Once we clicked it, it opened up to an empty chatroom.
Almost immediately, the laptop crashed. She sighed, thankfully the thing was already mostly broken. We went back to the living room. We sat on the ground and started to talk. She talked with various people and everyone seemed content. She seemed to radiate positive energy wherever she went.
Shitty hair started to talk to me, and we had a normal conversation, but my gaze was still fixed on (y/n). No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't start a decent conversation.
The sleepover soon got to that awkward stage where everyone was on their phones. She got up and walked to the door. I asked tape arms where she was going, and he said she was going for a walk.
I hurried to put my shoes on and followed her out the door. She walked down the street and I jumped the steps. While jogging up to her, I saw how the moonlight illuminated her face. She looked like a goddess. The light displayed her features perfectly as she looked up to the moon.
She turned around as she heard me come closer. With a huge smile, she waited a bit, walking beside me. I couldn't help but blush again. We walked in a comfortable silence until I got the courage to talk.
The conversation was just awkward small talk until it became so much more. We laughed and joked, something I only did with her. I felt like I could let go around her, let go of all the underlying anger. This was just one of the may reasons I loved her.
She pulled out her phone and looked at the time. It was 1:00 AM, it would be best if we headed back. "Hey, I bet I can beat you there," she said with a smirk before running off. I laughed before running after her.
I chased her down the street while we both laughed. It wasn't a long run, but it felt like it lasted forever, in a good way though. She stopped on her front lawn and I ran right up to her. She didn't see me coming as I gave her a bear hug from behind.
She giggled and I laughed before letting go. I let out a sigh as we walked inside. Shitty hair and Dunce-face came racing over to me. They pulled me aside into one of the hallways. Once they pulled me into the hallway, they started to ramble. "That was so cute," "Dude you should have asked her out or something," They rambled. I just walked back to the other room.
It was pretty late so everyone had all gone to sleep. I couldn't fall asleep so I looked over to her. She was writing in a journal or diary. I chose to not disturb her, and watch her from my place across the room.
I woke up before anyone else, or so I thought. (y/n) was in the kitchen making food for everyone. I got up and trudged over to her. She looked up at me as I sat at a stool not too far away from her.
We talked a bit, and the others started to wake up also. She finished breakfast and served it to us. The whole time we ate, shitty hair and dunce-face kept giving smirks. I flipped them off and turned back to my food.
We finished and everyone started to go home. Without hesitation, I wished her a good day and went home, happy I got to spend the day with her.
