This story is of Oliver Smith a middle-aged guy living in a wooded part of Africa it was little known and quite peaceful...till now. This is how poor Oliver died. Enjoy.
It was mid-day here in the village Oliver was sweeping off his porch getting ready to sit and read his book. He sat peacefully enjoying his book eating some dates with little interruption. He later fell asleep with the book. He awoke from the screams of the townspeople. Jumping up he noticed the smell of fire and the thick smog that covered the sky. He jumped up his neighbor ran by him and "yelled to the clearing!" Oliver stood there terrified of the thought of entering the clearing his dad was killed in a clearing.
But he ran towards it anyways. As he approached the edge of the woods he stopped. The fire got closer to him in the fire he could see a figure but was unable to see what with the smoke in his face. He looked between the fire and clearing. He ran toward the clearing but before being able to step into the grassy clearing had a flashback of watching his father walking out into a clearing before a hunter shot him thinking it to be a deer. So he never left the forest and ran back towards the fire. After a moment of looking for a river to stand in, he found himself surrounded by fire it inclosed on him slowly leaving him there screaming in intense pain.
Burned to a chard, lifeless, unrecognizable.
Days later when the fire stopped the town sent search parties to look for survivors they found Oliver's mummified head burnt into a scream. Through further investigation, they found it was started with a gas spill and a match.
They buried the dead but never found the killer.
Turns out the fire was meant to kill Oliver, not that anyone knew this. And the only one to see the Killer was Oliver.
Over the years there were more deaths here every victim being killed by fire and sharing the same name as the first and the same fear....
This went on for a few years with thirteen counted victims.
Till it mysteriously stopped.....
