"I really like you Lue!" The words made Lue freeze up. She felt her body tremble and her eyes grow wet. Yaku's smile and happy eyes faltered a little bit seeing her get emotional, he opened his mouth to say something but Lue crashed her body into his. She didn't want him to think she was upset but she couldn't help but get teary over him say those words. Lue felt arms wrap around her shoulders and his body heat calmed her a little. She took in a small breath, her fingers clasping around the fabric of his black shirt. "Yaku.." She breathed out and mumbled into his chest. He didn't use words to reply but squeezed her shoulder. "When you say that.." She started to shake again, "Do you mean..like as in more than a-" She stopped speaking when she felt Yaku begin to shake slightly. His grip on her tightened and she could feel him slowly nodding his head.

Her body went at ease. Lue moved her head away from his chest, her face burning from blushing so intensely. She looked up at Yaku under her long lashes and saw him spacing out with a worried look on his face. She tugged his shirt a little and the second he looked down she shut her eyes and shoved her face back into his chest. Lue could still feel him staring down at her with that worried expression. She made up her mind and took in a deep breath. Yaku slightly opened his mouth to say something but was stopped short when Lue lifted her head up. His eyes went huge and his heart stopped.

Is this really happening

He went blank for a moment.

Lue's kissing..me!

Just as the thought processed in his mind, everything melted around him. He finally shut his eyes and kissed her back, slightly pushing his head forward to deepen the kiss. He could feel Lue's body being molded into his as she relaxed into him. It felt like the world had stopped and boy did the two of them wish that's actually what happened. Both of their faces were over powered by a deep blush, but neither of them cared. The kiss was more important.

Lue was the first to pull away. She quickly shoved her face back into Yaku's chest and squinted her eyes shut. The boy felt the love sick smile develop on his face as he rested his chin on top of her head. He held her closer to him, his mind replaying what just happened. Lue's mind doing the same thing.

The next morning all the managers were pulled aside to help surprise the teams with a barbecue. The girls had to miss the last two hours of matches to gather all the items needed for said treat. Lue was paired with Yachi and Kiyoko to grab the meats. When the time came Nekomata tapped Lue on her shoulder causing the girl to look away from the intense match up between Nekoma and Karasuno. "It's about that time Lue," He whispered with a happy smile. Lue nodded back excitingly. She spun on her heels and placed her managerial belongings on the bench next to her track suit jacket.

"Leaving so soon kitten?" Kuroo walked over to the small third year as she placed her arms into the jacket. "I have no idea what you're talking about." She said coyly skipping past him, leaving him slightly dumbfounded. He continued to dab his forehead with his towel as he watched her skip meerily around the courts and matches. "What's Loo doing?" Inouka who was now also switched out stood beside his upper class man. The two watched as the Karasuno managers followed Lue's earlier actions. "Kuroo!" Naoi called his name loudly. The tall bed head shrugged his shoulders and got back into court. He smirked seeing Yaku's lazed focus was now on Lue's figure leaving the gym.

"OI!" Both Yaku and Kuroo looked over to see Tanaka pointing directly at them. "WHERE IS LOO TAKING KIYOKO!" Nishinoya was now the one to yell. "And Yachi!" Hinata jumped in with his face close to the net, Kageyama behind him scowling deeply. Yaku clicked his tongue being slightly irritated that Nishinoya called Lue by her nickname. "How'em I supposed to know," Kuroo smirked with a shrug. "Seems like all the managers are leaving." Kenma spoke up. Both teams watched girl after girl leave the building. "Maybe they're going to some hotsprings!" Yamamoto grinned while wiggling his body.

Just as the comment was made, Nishinoya and Tanaka started to do the same thing. "PAY ATTENTION TO THE GAME!" Daichi smacked the two grinning boys on the opposite court to get them to stop fantasizing. "YOU TOO!" Yaku wacked Yamamoto in his head before turning to the coaches who were annoyingly watching the teams just mess around and apologized. As the teams started to get back into the game Kuroo had a funny idea, he inched over to Yamamoto while the ball was sent over the net. "Kitten in a hot spring.." He said in a low voice catching Yamamoto's full attention as his mind started morphing thoughts of the girl.

"Nake-" Just as Yamamoto was about to finish that sentence he felt a terrifying aura behind him. Sweatdroplets were forming around his forehead and neck. He robotically turned around to see Yaku with bent knees, his head was turned down and a shadow covered his eyes. The second year gulped thickly as the immense dark feeling Yaku was giving off only grew. But before Yamamoto could defend himself the volleyball shot right into the back of his head, Tanaka's laugh echoing as the male hit the ground. The incident made Yaku's angry thoughts fade away, karma.

Lue was standing in line with Yachi and Kiyoko waiting to pay for the food. The three paid for the large quantity of meat and headed back to the school to help the teachers set up. "Lue, you came back to the room later than the rest of us." Yachi brought up, her cheeks a little pink. Lue's own cheeks turned a bright pink, "O-Oh yeah," She nodded recalling the events with Yaku. "I heard from Kaori that you were left with the libero of your team." Kiyoko smiled softly, her shoulder slightly nudging Lue's. "With Yaku?!" Yachi squeaked. Lue only nodded her head, a smile pressing against her lips. "Did anything happen!!" Yachi was now in Lue's face with wide eyes. Kiyoko giggled and pulled Yachi away, "Before making Lue tell, why don't you tell us about this morning?" The ravenette winked making the blonde freeze up and stutter.

"What happened this morning?" Lue leaned in gripping the bag in her palms more. "N-N-Nothing!" Yachi's face was now bright red and she was a figeting mess. Kiyoko looked over at Lue and giggled, the brunette's eyes widened thinking possibly something happened with Hinata! She gasped and looked at Yachi, "Did you and Hinata kiss too!?" She gasped louder than she intended. The question made Yachi physically overheat. "You and Yaku kissed?" A new voice made Lue spin around. Standing across from them was Hana, Mai, and Eri, and Hana had her mouth hitting the floor. Lue's face grew hot, very hot and matched the color of the shirt under her jacket. "Hinata and I only held hands for a brief moment this morning!" Yachi blurted, her mind still trying to process the idea of her and the bouncy boy kissing.

The walk back to Ubugawa was fun for Lue. She felt so at ease with all these girls, it made her completely forget all the wrongs that were done by her by previous so called friends. Lue was obviously embarrassed telling the group of girls about the events of last night, who wouldn't be. But regardless, she kept repeating the story every time they were reunited with another pair of girls. Her face was a blushing mess matched with a cheeky smile as they returned. The coaches from Fukurōdani and Ubugawa were waiting for the managers just outside the gym. They had the grills already set up and turned on. "Thank you ladies, if you like you can return to the matches, there's still time to catch the last sets." Fukurodani's coach announced as he started to grill the meat.

"Nah! We'll help out here coach!" Yukie gave him a thumbs up. He nodded and gave the girls assigned jobs, Lue was instructed to set up the eating utensils and plates. As she walked by the long table near the gym doors she couldn't help but peak inside. She glanced around before setting the paper plates down, her hand gripping the door handle and quietly opened it. Her dark eyes instantly locked onto the ball in the air, she watched it being slammed down— a cross shot. She held her breath waiting for it to smack on her teams side, but it never happened. The girl leaned her head on the doors cool metal body and smiled.

She watched as Yaku got back to his feet and double high fived Kai. She saw how widely he smiled and even with all that sweat sticking to his skin she found him unbearably handsome. Her thoughts brought her back to Kiyoko's advice, her smile softly flattened.

"Be sure to solidify these new feelings, you don't want anything to be up in the air right?"

What did she mean? Lue knows she didn't announce her feelings for Yaku like he did..but doesn't kissing him mean the same thing? Lue sucked air in through her teeth and turned away to finish setting up the table. She firmly nodded to herself coming to the perfect solution to this minor delima.

She was going to ask Yaku to be her boyfriend.
