It's been two years. Two years since they last saw each other. After Lue left to go study abroad, Yaku was soon scouted to play over seas. They talked every moment possible, sending texts and emails whenever they could spare the time. Although it was fine the first few months things started to get shaky when Lue and Yaku both started to crave more attention and more time from the other.

It was natural to want to be surrounded by your partners love and affection, but it was hard when you were separated by hundreds of miles and large bodies of water. The two would end up fighting on their rare phone calls. Jealousy picked up on both side when they would go out and not answer their phone.

Lue was pushed over the edge first. She had moved back home after a year of studying abroad to continue her education and make a career in her home town. One night after taking an exhausting test she just wanted to hear Yaku's voice. Even if it was drained from practice, even if it was laced with irritation from their long distance relationship. She craved his voice. So dialed him up but there was no answer. She checked the time and figured it would only be roughly ten at night where he was so he should be awake. So she called again, and again, and again. But there was still no answer! On top of the stress from her test she was now stressing over Yaku's sudden actions.

Just as she was about to throw her phone it dinged with a message. She quickly opened the text seeing it was from Yaku hoping he was telling her to call again. But instead, it was a simple three worded message.

"Leave him alone"

With a picture attached to it. Yaku was flushed in his cheeks and he had a wide smile across his lips while some blonde was straddling his lap. Her eyes staring straight into the phones camera lense as if to assert her dominance over Lue's boyfriend. She replied slowly and let her phone drop to the ground next to her bed. Her chest ached with sharp pain as she silently sobbed into her pillow. She couldn't believe it. Her mind couldn't possibly wrap it's self around the idea of Yaku cheating on her. Yes they've been fighting for the past year or so but she never thought it would result in this.

There were three knocks on her apartment door, but she was too lost in her heart break to hear. Thankfully Kuroo had a key made when she first moved in for cautionary reasons. They were best friends after all so why not. "Kuroo that's really invasive." Sugawara sighed entering the house after the taller male. "I do it all the time! Kitten never seems to mind!" He grinned mischievously knowing just how much Lue hated when he did that. "Where is she?" Akaashi closed the front door slowly as he glanced around the living room and kitchen. "She said she'd be home after her test.." Kuroo hummed now taking note of how quiet it was in her home.

"Maybe she forgot we made plans?" Suga tapped his chin. The four of them had grown really close after Lue moved back. Her and Suga were in basically all the same classes because of them both wanting to teach, and Akaashi and Kuroo just so happened to attend the same uni! And as a routine the four of them would always go out for drinks on the weekends. So for Lue not to be home was weird.
