Hey ladies and gents! Here is the new and updated ending to Alphas. I am so much happier with this one, and I fully believe that you guys will LOVE it.

Anyways, enjoy!

Love.

It was a funny thing to Brook, not knowing if she had ever felt it before. She thought Connor had loved her, but he didn't.

He used her for god knew what reason, and then he left her to the side. He was willing to let her die. And he never even gave her an explanation.

And then her dad, well it seemed that he didn't love her either. He always tried to give her off to other packs, and finally he was willing to let her die for Connor.

Fiona might have been the closest thing to love that Brooklynn felt. A strong bond shared between the two that hadn't been betrayed. Fiona had never once left Brook's side, even when it put her at risk.

Fiona was practically a sister for Brook.

And while Brook sat in that hospital room, waiting for news on Kai, she couldn't help but feel like a moron. For the few months that she had been here, she truly believed that Connor loved her. After all, it was so painstakingly easy for him to act that way.

"Moon goddess, why couldn't you give me someone good?" Brook whispered with her head in her hands. Luckily, she was alone in this part of the waiting room. But it didn't really matter since the secret that she could talk with her was out.

Don't give up on him just yet.

"Why shouldn't I?" Brook questioned, "He doesn't love me, he tried to kill me."

He's not himself, Brooklynn. You know that. Stop looking for the easy way out. He needs help.

"Alright, thanks for the helpful advice," Brook grumbled, "It's not like I'm carrying his baby or anything."

Not my fault you didn't use protection.

Brook didn't respond to the goddess, who had tested her nerves too much in one day. She slumped down in her chair, wanting to disappear for a very long time.

"Hey," Someone said. Brook glanced up from her bothered state to see Fiona. Fiona sat down in the chair next to her friend. "You look angry."

"Nah," Brook said, "I'm chilling. There's absolutely nothing that I would be mad about."

Fiona rolled her eyes at Brook's sarcasm, smacking her on the shoulder.

"You're an ass," She smiled, "Speaking of asses, what's happening with Connor?"

Brook's mood noticeably worsened when she heard that question. She really wanted to avoid even thinking about that, but now that it was brought up she couldn't stop.

"I really don't know," She answered, "I know he deserves to die, I mean he betrayed me and the pack. But then again, I am sort of pregnant..."

"So? He already made it abundantly clear that he didn't want anything to do with it."

Brook glared at Fiona, not knowing what to believe. Both Fiona and the moon goddess had a point. Connor did try to kill her, and he said that everything he had ever done was a lie. But then the moon goddess reminded her that Connor could be sick.

Brook looked down at her fingers, and stared at them.

"Brook," Fiona reprimanded, "He wanted to cut it out of you. He wanted to hurt you and that baby. I'm sorry but there's no point in keeping him around."

Right as Brook was beginning to speak, a nurse came into the waiting room with a smile.

Both Brook and Fiona stood up abruptly, waiting for whatever the nurse had to say.
