Tsuki's POV

The day was any other day. A day spent indoors. Chakra training with Father in the dojo with all doors and windows wide open. Though I'm only a child of age 4, Father urges me to hone my chakra and "make it my own."

"Everyone has chakra. But to be a shinobi, you must control it and make it yours by training. Eventually, you'll be able to wield it like you would wield a sword. It must be second nature to you. A natural instinct," Father would always repeat. So much so that it's basically tattooed into my mind.

I was positioned in the middle of the dojo in the Usagi estate on the tatami matted floors, sitting down with my legs crossed over one another in my white training gi, large dark brown eyes that were blushed in red closed in meditation. The summer air breezes throughout the entire wide and silent dojo, gently making my black bangs sway in my face, the rest of my long silky hair tied up in twin tails. The only sounds auditable were coming from Father as he paced around me in circles, the faint smell of incense smoke lingering but dissipating as soon as the wind aired through. No others were there. Just me, Father, and the stillness of peace and quiet.

After a few more minutes of silence, I slowly gathered my chakra to the center of my stomach and slowly started to evenly circulate it throughout my body. Narrowing my senses to sense the presence of everything around me, I managed to hear and feel the whereabouts of a leaf fluttering down outside of the room and flicked my finger towards it. A small concentrated burst of wind emitted from my finger from the flick as it sliced through the air, hitting the leaf and making it suddenly change directions from its original path.

"Good but not quite there yet. The leaf should be sliced, not just simply hit. Concentrate, Tsukihime. Try to picture the wind as a sword with a very honed edge," Father advises as I continue to meditate and redo what I wasn't able to accomplish. With my eyes closed in total concentration, Father continued in a low and calm voice. "Breathe."

With that, I took slow and deep breaths, evening it out and narrowing my senses once again. The wind whispered words of encouragement as another leaf was plucked from its branch. Pinpointing its location, I flicked my finger again, hitting it as the edge of the leaf split.

"Good, you're improving and learning fast, Tsukihime. That's enough for today. Let's go home and continue tomorrow morning." Father pats my head as I opened my irises to look up at him and grinned, nodding my head.

Since six in the morning, I've been training to control my chakra and learn how to do the Usagi Blade Flick; a technique that creates a blade of wind from the fingers when flicked to slice and cut things. The Blade Flick is a different form of the base jutsu called Force Flick, where instead of a "sharp blade," it's just a blunt force. It may sound simple, but the insane amount of concentration and control to even make a small slice on paper is still complex.

He let out a chuckle as we walked towards the door and then took the nice stone path to the gates in front of the dojo, out into the sun's beaming rays or the clan's public area.

As we stride home, people in our clan bowed at our existence and greeted us. Workers, shop owners, fellow clansmen that we're just patrolling or doing errands all stopped what they were doing and greeted us with a bow.

"Lord Tatsuya. Princess Usagi. I hope your day has been well."

  "Princess Usagi, you're so adorable!"

"Lord Tatsuya, we hope your training with the princess went well."

Everyone was smiling as I waved to them and giggled. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everyone's so nice. Seeing others smile and happy made me mirror their feelings, especially since it was I who was making them feel happy.
