Chapter 13

Alex
I came home to see Grey holding a bag of Doritos passed out on the bed. Even while looking like a slob she was still the cutest woman to look at. I started to think about what the guys told me and I knew I had to make it up to her. I quickly showered and got dressed to leave, I had a surprise for her.

Grey
All day I've been crying and eating snacks from being frustrated with Alex. I hate to be a bitch but being pregnant was making my emotions spiral out of control. I know I need to chill with my attitude because it's not good for my baby nor my relationship with Alex.

It was now 6pm and I still hadn't heard from Alex. I got up to shower and noticed his outfit from earlier in the dirty laundry hamper so it's obvious he's been home but he went out again. He's probably still mad and went out for drinks or something.

I showered then washed my hair and put it up in a bun to air dry. I moisturized and put on some fuzzy socks and put on one of Alex's shirts as a night gown. It was now 7:30 and he still wasn't home so, out of boredom I started to clean.

I blasted frank ocean through my Bluetooth speaker and held an entire concert in the kitchen using the broom as my microphone.
Alex
I could hear "Lost" by Frank Ocean blasting as I was driving up to the house. Grey was gonna piss the neighbors off again. When I walked inside, there she was, shaking her ass and screaming from the top of her lungs. She sounded like a dying cat, but you could tell she was putting her all into it so all I could do was laugh. I started to record her knowing that I was going to use this against her one day.

I slowly walked behind her and started to cheer and clap, scaring the shit out of her.

"Oh Beyoncé we love you!!!"

She let out a high pitched scream and almost fell while holding onto her chest.

"Man You can't sneak up on people like that what the hell!! Especially pregnant people"

"Shut up, you're fine turn that down before you get us kicked out"

She paused the song instead.

"Well where have you been all day?"

"Well golfing and you knew that already, then I came home to shower and then I had to go run some errands"

"What kind of errands?"

"The kind that you'd appreciate, now go put on some shoes we're going out"

"Shoes? I'm free balling with a oversized shirt and socks on I think I need more than that"

"You don't I promise, hurry up babe"

She ran away with excitement written all over her face not even caring where we were going, she was just happy to be with me.

When we got in the truck we started to drive down many dirt roads and back streets. It was real sketchy looking and we had been driving for an hour. I kept asking Alex for hints but he wouldn't budge. Every time I asked a question about where we were going, he'd turn the radio up a little louder.

We finally pulled into a huge yard with a long dirt driveway, surrounded by trees. The closer we got, a little cabin came into view. We got out and he unlocked the door letting me in. It was beautiful and cozy.

"Why are we here Alex? What is this for?"

"This is for me to say sorry, we've been ass holes to each other lately and I don't want that for us. I know you're pregnant but that doesn't give you a reason to lash out on me every chance you get. Sometimes it's not the mood swings making you mean,it's you and we both know that."
