It’s been so long, it’s been so long... since I’ve updated but I’m going to try to update this story a lot now.
Maura rushed into the police station and made her way to the reception.
“Hi, I’ll like to report a missing person” she said, the receptionist looked up from her computer
“What might your name be, madam?” she asked
“Maura, Maura Horan” Maura said
“Okay Mrs. Horan i just need to ask you some question before I take this up with an officer” she said and Maura nodded.
“What’s the name of the person missing and their relation to you?” the receptionist asked
“Niall Horan, his my son” She said
“How long has the person been missing?”
“About 3 hours now” the receptionist looked at Maura with a frown and stared at the computer for a moment before she turned to Maura.
“I’m sorry miss but Niall has to be missing for more than 24 hours for it to be reported” She said turning back to the computer,
“What, you don’t understand Niall is trouble and he hasn’t ever come home lat-“Maura starts but the receptionist cuts her off.
“I know of your son’s troubled ways, the whole town does but there is nothing I can do I’m sticking to the rules here” she said as she stood up, Maura felt a rage of anger surge through her
“You or this town know nothing about my son” She said through clench teeth glaring at the young woman in front of her. Niall was a sensitive topic for Maura, she hated when people talked about her son in a negative manner, what mother didn’t? She couldn’t escape the gossip about her and her son, her husband left her and she had a son that was mentally ill. She was the towns joke. The receptionist only rolled her eyes and walked away. Only making Maura more angry and begin to yell at her.
“You young lady have no fucking right to treat me such disrespect is this ho-“Maura is cut off when a young man speaks
“Mrs is there an issue here?” Liam asks, Maura turns around to see a young man starring at her with concern.
“Yes I’m trying to report my son as missing but this young lady here won’t let me and is treating with a lot of disrespect” Maura said angrily
“Officer Payne I only told her she couldn’t report him because he hasn’t been missing for 24 hours, I was only doing my job” the receptionist said.
“Mrs come with me please” Liam said as he began to walk to an interrogation room, Maura gave the receptionist a glare before she followed Liam into the room.
When they walked in, Liam gestured for Maura to take a seat.
“Now what is this about your son missing?” Liam asked as he took a seat in front of Maura.
“I’ll like to report him as missing” Maura said and Liam nodded
“I’ll be back, I’ll just get some papers” Liam said as he stood up and exit the room. It isn’t long before Liam is back with a bunch of papers in his hands.
“Okay now I’m going to ask some questions and you’ll have to answer while I write them down” Maura nodded and Liam proceeded to ask her question about Niall which she answered truthfully.
“Now is there anything we need to know about Niall?” Liam asked as he got ready to finalised Maura’s report.
“His troubled” Maura said and Liam frowned at Maura’s confession
