Kate and Her Warrior

Part 9 - Kate POV

I've never been so scared in my life.

I remember when I was five years old I believed there was a monster living under my bed. It has a big claws and red eyes. I can't sleep for weeks and my dad really worry about me. I don't want him to be sad because of me. So I pushed myself to be brave and never told my dad that I can't sleep every night.

My dad believe me but not with the other kids. When they learn about my fear, they mocking me and laughing at my face. I cried every day because the bully.

Then Xavier come to the picture and become my friend. He is alpha son but he's not act like self-absorbed kid. He has this shy boy and scary boy following him anywhere. Turn out they all are best friends. The other boys never spoke to me. Xavier was the only person who wants to spoke to me.

One night Xavier and his friends climb the tree outside my room window. They said they want to help me kill the monster. The scary boy gave me his little teddy bear. He said her mom gave the teddy for him because he used to scare to sleep without the light on. Because he can't stay every night to snuggle with me, he hoped the little bear can take his task to accompany me.

That night they all overslept in my room. Our parents got angry because the boys sneak out in the middle of night. They grounded for one month. I remember I was cried and begging them to not punish them. The alpha finally took back their punishment.

After we all grew up, me and Xavier slowly walk at different path. He's still friendly with me but he has his own group. After all they all wolves and I was just a human. We live at different world. Although we can't be together, I knew that Xavier and Casper will be there to protect me.

I saw Casper drown to his own mind. I knew he talked with Xavier through their link.

He put me down to my sleeping back and holding my face with his two hands. His skin rough but warm. I love the feeling.

"Stay here. Do not go outside. Promise me." He said before kiss me goodbye.

I was so scared that I'm not able to cry. I know something bad happen outside our tent. I want to go with him. I don't want to left alone. I need him with me.

"Everything will be okay." Eliza came few minutes after Casper gone. She hugged me and consoling me. "Xavier put two warriors with us and all of us are werewolves. You'll safe with us."

We drown in silence. It's really hard for Eliza to be quite like this. I can saw her mouth muscle twitch.

"Okay, just asked anyway." I said with chuckled.

"Yeay! I'm dying to ask you this." She gave me wide smile and wiggling her brows. "What are you two doing before I came here?"

"Nothing, he bid goodbye and order me to stay here. He is really bossy sometimes."

"Really? I thought you like to be order around by him, like a good submissive?" her smile got wider.

"What? No!"

"You're lying. I can smell your arousal when I came in." My face got hotter.

"Maybe that was his scent. You know he is a horny dog twenty four hours."

"O really? But we all can hear your voice from our tent." I believe my face turn pale now. I forgot wolves have freaking super hearing and Casper still told me to be quite. It's nonsense to lower your voice around werewolves.

"Hahahahaha! Relax. All we can hear just your kisses. Thanks goddess you not moan his name." I want to burry myself alive because of the embarrassed. Eliza bumped her shoulder to mine. "So? Did you do the deed?"
