Chapter 8. Gaia

Izuku had won the sports festival, and did quiet a number on Bakugo. The big three praised him as Nejire jumped towards him as she hugged him, Izuku caught her as he hugged her back. Izuku then gave a worried glance towards Mirio, Mirio understood this.

"Well shall we hang out for the rest of the day? Before Izuku will be on his secret mission Tomorrow" Mirio stated. "Wait what secret mission?" She asked curiously. " Sorry it's a secret i'm not allowed to talk about it" Izuku stated. "Then how does Mirio know about it?" Tamaki asked. "Because Mirio barged in when the Principal and i were talking so he overheard our mission" Izuku said. "Yeah again sorry for that" Mirio laughed.

After that they decided to go to the park it was beautifull Sunny weather, it was also warm outside. Izuku then just fell down in the grass as he smiled with his eyes closed as he enjoyed the sun. "Saaaay, can you really not tell us anything about your mission?" Nejire pouted as she asked this. "I'm sorry we really can't" Izuku said with an innocent smile. "i'll just ask Mirio all night untill he spills it" Nejire said as she glance at Mirio. "I'm not allowed to say anything aswell, and why will you bombard me with questions but not Izuku?" Mirio asked.

"Just because." she said. "Izuku is just special" she said. "Fine fine, just don't expect to hear an answer" Mirio smiled. "Don't worry he'll tell me" Nejire winked at Izuku. "It's better if you don't " Izuku then said. "Is it that dangerous?" Tamaki asked. "I don't know it might be, it could go peacefull and easy, but it could also be the complete opposite" Izuku explained. "that's all i can say about it" Izuku quickly added.

Nejire's smile changed to a worried frown. "Don't you worry your pretty little head about it" Izuku said as he looked towards Nejire. "you have to promise you'll came back to me then!" Nejire said. "What do you mean?" Izuku asked. "You said it could get dangerous, well i want you to promise, no matter what happens that you'll come back to me!" She said.

"Alright i promise" Izuku said. "Good" Nejire said as she gave him a smile as she laid her head on his stomach as she laid on the grass aswell. Mirio and Tamaki just smiled as they saw this. They then also laid down in the grass. Suddenly Izuku shot up again as he looked towards the city. "What's wrong Izuku?" Nejire asked as she was startled by his actions. 'Again? he's getting more active, i can't sense what he's doing but since he's showing himself more and more it must mean he is reaching a decision' Izuku thought as he gritted his teeth.

"Izuku!?" Nejire then yelled afraid as she saw Izuku gritting his teeth and sweating. "Huh? oh sorry" Izuku nervously as he saw Mirio look at him with a serious face. "I'm sorry guys i have to go, i forgot Allmight wanted to talk to me about something after the sports festival" He lied as he quickly ran off. "Izuku" Mirio shouted as Izuku stopped. Izuku turned around as he saw Mirio with a serious face.

"Don't worry, i'm just going to talk with All might" he said as he then ran off. Izuku got back at UA and quickly went to Nezu's office. He quickly walked inside. "Nezu sir, i have to talk to you aswell as All might" he said. "Oh hello Izuku, it seems something is bothering you" Nezu said. "There is, could you please ask All might to come?" Izuku stated with a serious face as Nezu then called for All might.

All might walked in with his muscle form but went to his skinny form the moment he saw Izuku and Nezu alone in the room. "What did you call me for with such urgency?" All might asked. "Izuku here was looking for you" Nezu stated. He then saw the serious look on Izuku's face. "It's about Gaia isn't it?" All might asked as Izuku nodded.

"How long did you hold out against him?" Izuku asked straight to the point. "Only a few hours, he was mostly testing the limits of my power and seeing how strong i was, which moves i had and to see if i would be an interesting opponent for him, once he found out i was the number 1 hero he easily finished me in just a few minutes" All might answered. "I see" Izuku said as he gritted his teeth. "Why what's this about?" All might asked. "I'm going to face him tonight" Izuku stated.
