RUMMAGING THROUGH HER CLOSET, Delilah eventually found a gray Star Wars graphic tee and a navy blue box pleat skirt. She pulled them on, tucking the graphic tee into the skirt and slipping into some gray flats. She then shrugged on her decathlon blazer, showing off her blue and yellow school colors. She stepped into the bathroom, pulling her hair into two french braids. She finally completed the look with her glasses, after taking careful consideration of Peter's suggestion and compliment.

Delilah had never been fond of her glasses.

When she first got them at ten years old, she felt that she looked like a loser, all up until Tony convinced her that the eyewear looked stylish on her, saying that she rocked them better than most people with glasses. Months after that, she began to get used to them, feeling confident whenever she put them on. All up until the attack on Stark Mansion. When Delilah crashed into that water that sat below the edge of the cliff, her first pair of glasses disappeared for good. She had basically been blind during her and Tony's unexpected escape to Rose Hills, Tennessee, her nearsightedness only enabling her to see things that were close to her, but Harley had helpfully provided her with an old pair of glasses that previously belonged to his grandma, which ended up allowing her to see until Tony could get her a new pair.

From then on, Delilah avoided wearing her glasses, unless she had just gotten tired of wearing her contacts.

The teen dragged her purple rolling suitcase into the living room/kitchen area of the Stark Penthouse, where she saw Pepper and Piper already dressed, waiting for her while sitting at the kitchen island. She stepped towards them with the suitcase in tow, receiving an unamused look from Piper.

"Jeez, what took you so long? Were you trying to fit your whole wardrobe into that thing?" Delilah rolled her eyes at her sister's comment.

"You're wearing your glasses," Pepper pointed out, stopping Delilah from coming up with a snarky comment. "I thought you didn't like wearing them out."

"Oh, uh, I just wanted to change things up, y' know?"

"Or maybe she just wanted to look nice for her boyfriend, Peter." Piper mockingly made kissing noises at Delilah, causing the girl to scowl, her cheeks flushing the same color as Piper's hair.

"Shut up!"

"Girls, that's enough!" Pepper scolded, making the twins shut up before her phone lit up with a chime.  She inspected the message, looking back up at the two girls. "Happy's outside." She walked over to the elevator with the twins following, pressing the button to call for the machine.

"Wait, why is she coming?" Delilah questioned, pointing to her sibling.

"We're gonna go get ice cream after we drop you off. I don't pass on free ice cream."

"What? I want ice cream too!"

Pepper shook her head, as the three stepped into the elevator. "Sorry, Lilah, I don't want you to miss the bus. Besides, I'm sure you and your team are gonna be able to get ice cream in D.C." Delilah frowned, folding her arms, whilst Piper teasingly stuck out her tongue just as the elevator closed.
