Updating Jennie

Lisa's POV

It was now lunch time and Jennie was trying to drag to me to the cafeteria.

"Unnie, I can't go in there!" I whined at her and pulled my arm away from her, dashing to the rooftop.

I heard her footsteps follow and soon we eventually arrived, panting.

"Jeez... Lisa...What's so wrong...about eating...in the cafe....teria " she said between breaths.

I sat down and opened my lunch box, "You probably didn't know unnie, but ever since you guys left, I wasn't welcomed in the cafeteria" I told her, munching on my sandwich.

I saw her brows furrow, "The fuck? As far as I know, the cafeteria was open to all" she said sitting beside me.

"Not since you left"

"And why is that?" She asked getting her own lunch.

"Ermmm... I feel like it's a bad idea to tell you" I mumbled to myself but she heard it.

"Lisa, tell me. I'm getting a bad feeling about this..."she said, holding my shoulders so I'd look at her.

Before I could answer, both our phones dinged. We both took out our phones and opened it. I looked at my notifs and rolled my eyes.

Nothing new, the same old rumors. What's this? The new hottie's her new victim? Are they talking about Jennie?

I scoffed, but once I saw Jennie's reaction, fear washed over me.

She was fuming! Her grip on her phone looked as if she was gonna break it any second. She then looked up and our eyes met.

Fudge. I know that look.

"Lisa, kindly explain" she said through greeted teeth, her joyful tone completely gone.

"Nini unnie, calm down. This is nothing. It's just a simple prank from my classmates" I made up a stupid excuse, I know, but I was too nervous about Jennie unnie staring me down to think of something better.

As expected she saw through my lie and stood up, stomping towards the door, "whoever did this will answer to me either they want it verbally or physically, they will"

I gasped. I stood up and ran after her, discarding my unfinished sandwich.

I caught up to her halfway through the stairs and tried holding her back by her arms, "Unnie, please calm down first. This is nothing okay? This is normal-" I wanted to slap myself for saying that.

"THIS IS NORMAL!?" She was outraged by now.

I'm stupid.

We then saw Taehyung running up the stairs, and we made eye contact.

"LIS! Did you see? Are you okay?" Taehyung ran towards me and hugged me, making me let go of Jennie.

My heart fluttered a bit and I smiled as I felt his grip tightened around me.

"I'm fine Tae, really." I said patting his back in reassurance, but then at the corner of my eyes I saw Jennie turning a corner.

I the pulled away, but his arms around my waist stayed, "Tae, thanks for worrying," I smiled at him but then looked over his shoulder, "but Jennie unnie's about to throw hands, we can't let that happen. She'll hurt herself" I finished, worry laced on my voice.
