Misunderstood [Taelice]

Another Believer

Jungkook's POV

I finally escaped from my hyungs without being noticed. They are currently keeping an eye on Taehyung hyung, making sure that he doesn't see that Lisa girl again, giving me a chance to see her and ask her questions.

So,here I am on my way to the rooftop.

After climbing up a ridiculous amount of stairs, I finally am in front of the door that leads to the the rooftop.

I slowly opened it, making a squeaking sound. I opened it wider to make space for me to go out. After completely stepping on the rooftop, I was greeted by a hooded girl that was facing me.

Her appearance intrigued me though. She had bangs that covers her eyes, plump pink lips and chubby cheeks. I had to admit, she does look pretty even though half of her face is covered. I wonder if she could see behind those.

"Uhhh.... You're Lisa right?" I asked awkwardly.

Okay, I'm regretting coming here. I was so determined on finding out the truth about this girl, that I forgot one important detail. I'm afraid of girls.

She nodded her head and backed away a littler like she's afraid of me.

"Yes, that's me, but what are you doing here?" She asked in a low voice, "I thought you were afraid of me" she said coming out a whisper but I could still hear.

"What?"

"I saw you. You're one of Taehyung's friends who wanted him away from me, because you thought I hurt him" she said.

"Wait. You heard that?" I asked her to which she nodded in response.

"So, DID you hurt him?" I asked cautiously.

She shook her head vigorously, "Why would I hurt him? He's the only one who doesn't see me as a bully" she said, "The only one who told me I'm his friend..." she mumbled. I don't think she wanted me to hear the last part but I did. Now I feel bad, but I have to stand my ground until I get enough information to trust her.

"Then what was that video all about?" I asked her, trying to look intimidating, to which I totally pulled off.

"We were simply talking in that video, he came to see me that day to apologize because of something he accidentally did to me the day before that, that's why he was bowing to me multiple times, I held his shoulder to stop him because his back might hurt and I'd feel guilty if that happens" she explained. I nodded understanding. All she said actually makes sense.

"Ahhh! Jinja!? So you really weren't bullying hyung?" I asked her frustrated. She shook her head silently.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry! I didn't know anything about you and I just judged you like that! You must feel like shit! Ahhh! I feel so guilty!" With the newly found information, I panicked in frustration because of guilt. I mean who wouldn't when you just wronged an innocent girl!?

She just smiled, "Don't worry about it. I forgive you. I'm used to it actually but sometimes it just goes overboard. But at least two people believe me now" she said.

I smiled but then turned into a frown, "Oh gosh! You're so understanding! And to think I thought of you as a bad guy! Why am I so stubborn and stupi-" I was cut off by a giggle.

I looked at her, to see that she was silently giggling, it sounded cute, honestly.

"I told you not to worry about it, I forgave you already" she said.

I opened my mouth to say something but was cut off by a loud bang.

We both turned towards the door which was forcefully opened, to see Taehyung panting heavily.

He's eyes immediately landed on Lisa, "Lis, I'm so sorry I'm late, my hyungs were watching over me like hawks and I couldn't escape. Thank god for Mr. Kim..." he stopped midway as soon as he noticed I was with them.

His eyes widened, "What are you doing here!?" He asked and gasped exaggeratedly, "Did you perhaps do something to her" he exclaimed shocked.

He immediately went over to Lisa and stood firm in front of her, his arms wide in front of her protectively.

"Jeon Jungkook, I swear-" I can tell he was about to scold me and get angry, but I ain't having any of it so I decided to cut him off.

"I didn't do anything hyung! I simply talked to her and ask her a few stuff" I told him.

He looked behind him where Lisa was and asked, "Is it true?".

She nodded, "If he told you to stay away from me, don't listen to him okay?" He told her.

She smiled at him, "Don't worry Tae, he didn't say anything like that to me, he only asked for answers about me and now he believes that I'm not what other people think I am" she explained further.

His eyes widened, and a smile immediately formed in his lips, he then turned to me, "Jinja!?" He asked excitedly.

And now I was questioning Taehyung hyung's personality, even though I'm supposed to be used to him being like this already. From serious, angry and threatening, he turned into the joyful hyung I always loved.

I nodded hesitantly knowing what's coming after this.

And I called it, because he pounced on me almost immediately after I nodded.

"Yay! At least someone else is on our side!" He exclaimed joyfully.
