I slowly rose and woke up from my bed inside the tavern. I'm guessing Kirito and Asuna split up and Kirito came to the tavern I was in because his coat was hung up. I opened up my menu and equipped my clothes and armour for our fight with the boss. I looked up and I heard a knock at my room door. I open it and see Kirito.
Kirito: Hey, you sleep well?
(U/n): Like a baby *yawns* so should we head off?
Kirito: Yep.
Me and Kirito payed the bar tender for our stay and exited the tavern. We followed a road which leads to the bosses location.
(U/n): So how'd it go with Asuna?
Kirito: Pretty good, She told me that she refused to give up to this world of Virtual World. Hopefully she lives up to her dream.
(U/n): Well there's not much you can do in a situation like this now.
Kirito: Anyway, lets just focus on taking out the boss.
(U/n): Agreed.
Me and Kirito arrived at our destination. People from yesterday turned up and waited for the offical boss battle to commence. People glared at us for some reason as if we committed a murder and we didn't know other people knew. Asuna must be waiting somewhere around here, hopefully she didn't fall asleep.
(U/n): *nudge* Keep your heads on a swivel for Asuna.
Kirito: Gotcha.
I scanned every crowd and group of people but none seemed to stand out.
Kirito: Found her
I looked in the direction of Kirito and it appears he was right. Asuna was leaned up against a tree, arms crossed. Kirito walked towards so I did the same. I approached her and she seemed to be slightly annoyed about our arrival but slowly got over it.
Kirito: Hey.
Asuna: Hello.
Kirito: Are you ready for the boss?
Asuna: Then why am I here?
(U/n): Kirito, nice observation of ya surroundings mate. *snickers*
Kirito: S-shut up.
A bell started ringing, which caught my attention and everyone else's. Diabel was stood upon a rock with a shiny silver bell.
Diabel: Okay. Is everyone ready to depart?
Everyone nodded in response.
Diabel: Okay, follow me and my team.
Diabel jumped from his rock and started following a path through the forest. Everyone following his lead, I signalled Kirito and Asuna to follow them as well. A good 2 minutes into our walk and Kirito asked Asuna something.
Kirito: So you've never been in a party before?
Asuna: Yes, this is my first multiplayer game I've played.
Kirito seemed to stop and look up. I turned around since Kirito stopped walking.
(U/n): Kirito, what is it?
Kirito: Um, look up.
A massive tower stood before us. The tower seemed to reach the sky and beyond. Please don't tell me we have to climb that.
