Suddenly everyone applauded and whistling our victory over Illfang the Kobold which I guess was certainly some Recognition.
Kibaou: Why!
A shout was heard from behind the crowd and everyone parted like Moses did to the Red Sea. It was Kibaou which of course he wasn't happy.
Kibaou: Why! Why did you almost let Diabel die!
Diabel: Kibaou it-
Kirito: Almost let him die?
Kibaou: Of course! You knew the technique the boss used! If you'd told us about that up front he wouldn't have almost died!
The crowd starting turning heads about Kibaou's acknowledgement.
Guy: He must be a beta tester! That's how he knew all the boss's attack patterns. He knew but didn't tell us!
Guy 2: Other beta testers are here, too right? Come out!
Of course, I obliged to revealing I'm a beta tester and everyone started whispering and saying rumours about me.
Kibaou: You! You should kneel and give us all your weapons and equipment! You should've told us!
(U/n): Right, listen here you little stuck up prick. A beta tester is someone who tests the game on the verge on being the alpha base game to find bugs and see what they think about this game. So use some fucking common knowledge and maybe think they can change things in the alpha game. If Kayaba, being the bastard he is, of course he would change things to make it harder and for us to die. You all uneducated fucking normies.
Everyone stared at me and tried to process things through their thick skulls.
Guy: These guys are cheaters.
Guy 2: They guys are Beta testers as well. Their beaters.
Suddenly everyone was shouting insults and 'beater' at me to make me feel scared and depressed.
(U/n): Just wait, wait til you see me at the top.
I walked through the crowd and headed for the exit.
Agil: Well, that was some speech.
(U/n): They had it coming, and thank you for not being a prick.
Agil:Don't worry. I'm a beta tester too.
(U/n): Well I'll be catching you guys later.
Kirito: Wait, where are you going?
(U/n): I'm splitting up. Nothing personal it's just I want experience this world by myself for a little bit. Don't worry, we'll get back together.
Kirito: Don't die!

It's been a couple of weeks since the 'beater incident* until I was at the tavern having a drink until a familiar face came up.
Klein: (U/n)?
(U/n): Klein?
Klein: It's been too long man.
(U/n): Yeah it has. *pats the seat next to him* have a seat.
