Upon much needed thinking, Isla decided that she would seduce Zane. Long she had been without a boyfriend, but now her hibernating sexual hormones were awake. If not a long-term relationship, she would settle for a fling.
Today she would put her internet researched seduction plan into action. "Show, touch and flirt," she muttered to herself and stepped into the hotel's lobby.
The man of her thoughts stood a few paces away from him, talking softly to Sue and Debbie, the guest attendants. Both women hung to every word he uttered, their gaze fixed on his handsome slightly bearded face and nodded from time to time. Oh boy, Zane was already at work.
Straightening her shoulder, Isla walked on her high pencil heels towards them.  Maybe the clicking of her heels got his attention for he turned, eyes zooming on her. In one sweeping glance he scanned her mini short skirt catwalk, then straightened his black-rimmed glasses and dismissed her.
Oops!
That hurt, Isla's shoulders sagged. Ah well, it was just the first try, many more would soon follow, Isla promised herself.
After greeting the group, Isla asked, "Is there anything I should know?"
"Oh Zane was giving us some tips on 'how to impress the guests on their first ten minutes of arrival'. Actually, I will use it now." Debbie motioned her chin towards a middle aged woman, who pulled her travel bag along and walked towards the service counter on the right.
"So what's the plan for today," asked Isla looking directly into his dark greenish grey eyes. Rule number one is eye contact, she told herself. She quickly made a mental note of his slightly crooked yet appealing necktie.
"Tell me about your department," he clasped his hands over his flat abdomen. Isla had this feeling cut with sexy abs, if his masculine forearms were a sign.
"Sure, why not?" without waiting Isla walked towards their office, giving him an exclusive show of her long legs and swaying round bottom.
In the office, she carefully placed her one and only classy red leather handbag on the carpeted floor, next to her chair. Again giving him an ample view of her bootie. Was that him sucking in air? So light that Isla wasn't even sure, she heard it.
Zane cleared his throat, "Customer service is one of the…"
"Hang on a minute." Isla walked and stood inches away from him. Ignoring his confused look, she deliberately fixed her gaze on the knot of his necktie,  as if the survival of humanity depended upon it. Correction, her success of seducing him depended on it. "Your tie is crooked, would you like me to fix it?" Her voice a husky murmur, she stood inches from him.
Surprisingly, Zane took a hasty step backwards, hitting his bottom on the table's edge. "I will…" His fingers hooked on the necktie.
"I'm good at tying a tie," Isla gently pushed his shoulders down, making him rest his bottom on the table. A perfect angle for her do his tie. "And I promise I won't bite." Zane visibly gulped and let go of his tie.
Nestled between his long legs, Isla took her time to tie the perfect tie knot. His leather accord scent filled her senses, reminding her of his presence. She slightly brushed her fingers over his neck. Of course, it had to look like an accidental touch, for that was Rule number two.
She took a step back, "All done." She eyed the tie and genuinely beamed at her accomplishment.
"Thanks," eyes fixed on her face, he slowly got up.
"Now lets get started with work," Isla deliberately dismissed him, in a businesslike manner. Idea was to make him guess her intentions.

In the evening, Sylvie was washing dishes when Isla walked in her pajamas, into the kitchen. Humming, Isla pulled the freezer door and grabbed her favorite, salted caramel ice-cream.
Unfortunately, things don't escape mums. "Someone's happy."
"Yes," Isla felt like smacking herself. Now mum will want more information.
"Hope it's a man whose got your attention." Sylvie switched off the sink tap and grabbed a hand towel, from a drawer.
"Nothing much mum, Aqua Resort's got a new trainee manager and so far he's impressive." Isla took a quarter spoon of ice cream, popped it in her mouth, and savored the flavor. At her mum's raised eyebrows, Isla hurriedly added, "Zane is doing John's job basically."
After hanging the hand  towel on a hanger, Sylvie said, "Albert Watson, called today. He wants take Peter to New York and have him treated. You know see specialists."
"What did Dad say?"
"Well anyone would be keen, Peter would give anything to walk again." Sylvie sank on a chair and added, "It is not as if we have hundreds of grand stored somewhere for Peter's medical expenses."
"You will accompany Dad, right?" Sylvie nodded and Isla continued, "I'm glad, he's willing to help us. It's just that I don't want Dad to have his hopes high." Isla remembered those early days when her Dad became disabled, he had a hard time accepting the truth, moody too.
"I think so too."
