Sorry, this chapter was published later than I planned. Online school has been stressful, and honestly, I felt like this book was crap. So, if you read my book, thank you. It means a lot! Also, there is a little cursing. Oh, I start writing in third person.

"What do you mean by superhumans?" Tony questions disturbed by the news.

"Enhanced, superhuman, whatever term you want to use, is unimportant. These people have fabricated DNA." Rhodey brings up a picture of the DNA.

"Do you know what they can do?" Pepper says, looking at the hologram.

"No," He replies. "They're all different. No one has the same DNA; probably meaning they have different... powers?"

"Powers," Tony murmurs, then laughing dryly. "Do we know who is doing this?"

"No one knows," Rhodey responds.

"Any information?" Tony runs his hand over his face.

"No," Rhodey looks down. "I know you are not going to like my saying this."

"Then don't," Tony snaps.

"You have to call him." Rhodey finishes.

The room is silent for a minute. Everyone trapped in their thoughts, coming to the same conclusion. Tony shakes his head and glances at the flip phone on the counter.

"Tony," Pepper breaks the silence. "We probably need to go check on Peter."

Tony looks up, worried. "Shit." He scrambles out of his chair.

"Friday, where is Peter?" Pepper asks, following closely behind Tony.

"In his bathroom, he seems to be unresponsive." The voice in the ceiling responds.

"That's not reassuring," Tony mumbles, picking up his pace.

The couple enters the bathroom and sees Peter laying on the floor. Tony quickly kneels next to him, checking his pulse.

Pepper gasps. "Oh my..."

"He's alive." Tony interrupts. "He's alive." He says again, letting out an unsteady breath.

They both watch him for a minute, not sure what to do.

"Hmm." Peter moves his head to the side.

"Hey, kiddo, are you feeling alright?" Tony asks gently.

"Yeah," He answers sleepily. "Just tired."

Pepper moves out of the bathroom and hurry to the armoire opening three doors; until she finds pajamas. Rushing back to the bathroom, she sees Peter sitting up, leaning on Tony. Peter's eyes are half-open, and his hair is sticking up in different directions. If she had to guess his age at that moment, she would say twelve instead of fifteen.
