"The End"
I breathe a sigh of relief
Finally finished
My stomach growls in response
I grin sheepishly to myself
So I may have neglected my diet lately for the sake of my manuscript
But I do think it's well worth it
Running my fingers through my hair
I grab my jacket and head out the door
Keys swinging on my index finger
Sunshine beaming down warm on my skin
Birds chirping a cheerful tune
Earth Café
My favorite place
"Café latte please"
The comforting smell of freshly ground coffee washes over me
And I close my eyes with a smile
I collide into someone
My coffee spills and I'm utterly horrified
Cheeks flared in embarrassment as I blurt out "I'm so- "
Her eyes emerald green // His eyes sapphire blue
Her hair a beautiful gold // His hair dark as night
Hands outstretched in an awkward apology
Both wrists adorning the same exact mark
// "We have the same tattoo" I murmur
"What made you choose to put a crescent moon on your wrist?" I ask //
// "It's a long story" I say with a laugh
"Well I'd love to hear it sometime. I'm Romulus." //
// "Luna"
"It's a pleasure to meet you."
