Harry's P.O.V
Malfoy holds her up by her armpits and teachers hurry over to the side, pulling her up onto the wooden stands. I let out a loud sob when I see her and clutch my hands to my mouth. She lies limply on the floor, a silver chain tied tightly around her neck. Although she was unconscious, she gave sudden flinches or squirms whenever the necklace seemed to move. She has deep cuts and scratches down the side of her face and neck, along with around a dozen slightly smaller, but still deep ones on her arms and legs. Her ankle was clearly dislocated and was lying an an awkward angle on the surface. She was bleeding out from every cut and gash. The necklace tightened, once again, causing her to squirm and whimper. Dumbledore uses a charm to safely remove the necklace from her neck, leaving her skin red raw, bleeding and blistering. Malfoy is sat next to her, dripping wet, staring blankly at her limp form. He stares, worriedly at her, before moving away so I could be next to her.
I hold her hand tightly until she is carried away to be tended to by Madam Pomfrey. I glance over at Malfoy, who has still got his eyes on her as she is being taken away. His cheeks are flushed red and his face is knitted together with staggering worry. Rage bubbles up inside me and I stand up abruptly, storming towards Malfoy, pushing him. He stumbles back and looks at me confused.
"You! Why didn't you pull her up sooner?" I snap, angrily. She could be dead, and she's badly injured. If he pulled her out of the water quicker then she might not be in this state. I was so furious it was insane. I go to throw a punch at him, but Hermione grabs me before I can raise my fist. His face warps into anger.
"In case you didn't notice, Potter," Malfoy spits, "I was the only one here who was unconscious. You should have pulled her up yourself!"
"Who did or didn't pull her up isn't a competition!" Hermione says, turning my shoulders, so that I was facing her. "You should be thanking him! He got her out of there! That's all that matters! Come on, let's go see how she's doing." She grabs me arm, pulling me away. I shoot Malfoy a sharp look, and Hermione mouths an apology at him, which makes me even more angry, but I try to contain it. Hermione, Ron and I make our way over to the boats, my head was spinning. Please don't let her be dead.

Olivia's P.O.V
I feel light fall onto my skin, as consciousness returns to my body. My eyes flicker open and I and instantly wince at the brightness of the light. I blink a few times and squint, taking in my surroundings. I'm in the hospital wing. A long, white hospital curtain was pulled around my bed, leaving some space around it. There were two armchairs on my left bedside and one on my left. A small trolley at the foot of my bed, was holding up a dozen or so 'get well soon' cards, along with a bouquet of yellow and purple tulips. There was a tray of all sorts of medicines, tonics, bandages and medical equipment underneath. I remember the second task. Was Draco alright? Did he get to the surface safely? What about the other little girl? I sit up abruptly, immediately regretting it, due to the stinging pains in my legs.
"Olivia!" Hermione exclaims, snapping her book shut. I jump. I hadn't noticed her there. She puts her book on the chair she was sitting on and starts bombarding me with questions, that make my brain hurt.
"Here you go 'Mione-" Harry says, pulling aside the curtain, holding a cup of something hot, probably tea. He notices my consciousness and almost flings the tea all over himself. He places the cup at the door of my bed and rushes over to me, embracing me in a gentle, but dysfunctional hug. "You're awake! Are you ok?" He puts his hands on the side of my face and examines it, looking for any signs of injury.
"I'm fine." I say. I wasn't really lying either. I didn't feel too awful. I was aching in some places, especially my ankle, and I felt a bit drowsy but, I was overall alright. "Can I have some water?" My mouth was seriously dry. Harry hands me a cup, and I take gulps and gulps at once, feeling instantly refreshed. I see Madam Pomfrey winter the room, followed by Ron. She rushes over to my side, pressing her hand against my forehead, checking my temperature.
