As I unmute my mic from skype so I can talk to my teammates now that I'm done the intro.

"So, what are some basics about UHC different from normal Minecraft? I know a lot about Minecraft from research, but I don't really know much about Ultra Hardcore."

"Natural Regeneration is off, and you can only regen through golden apples," Baj responded. He had a fairly strong british accent, but not too thick so as to make him hard to understand.

"You can also use potions and notch apples," Arkas added.

"Okay, great. So when we have enough wood, we should get underground?" I inquired, punching some more logs.

"Actually, there are a couple more things we need on," Baj interjected. "We need some food, and maybe feathers."

I better get to work.

*A couple minutes later*

¨Oh gosh!¨ I cry as I read the chat. OMGChad was slain by Aureylian.

¨Shippers aren't gonna like that very much, "Arkas commented wryly.

Again, the chat flared up. adlingtont was slain by Pyro_0.

Once more, the chat flared. Pyro_0 was slain by AvidyaZEN.

Then the chat was silent. Minutes past as we waited, absent mindedly finishing up on the surface. Nothing happened. Baj laughed.

¨Well, BTC is BTCing it again, " He laughed dryly, typing a similar message into chat.

I came to my senses and realized it was nearly night. We hurried into the side of a mountain, making some charcoal and stair-mining down. I had survived my first day.
