We sometimes sit down and wonder if we have settled in making our decisions in life. Did we really choose wisely? Did we really make the times passed by as memorial as we once wanted it to be? There's no one answer to that. These questions have haunted me for the past five years. Answers that I try so hard to come up with and somehow I always end up coming up short. Obsession, some may call it. Some may even go as far as to say it is bi-polar or it's simply straddling the fence. How do we really know that the choice we've made is the right choice?

Some say there can be love at first sight once you've met your soul mate, some argue there is a time span that is needed before you can fall in love with someone. Others argue that there's no such thing as soul mates, you simply find someone as close to what you want and hope they would love you just as much as you love them or at least enough to make things work. The regrets, the hope, the wants the intended forever love. If the paradigm is to shift will our choices remain the same or would our world shift?

Well, lets find out.

I have carefully selected and invited three couples from my sessions Samantha and Niko, Saleisha and Michael along with Amarosa and Dixon to my lake side cabin to go through a Soul Mate finding journey. My modern cabin consists of eight bedrooms containing one bed, a sofa and a closet, four baths, a huge kitchen, one entertainment unit, a laundry room a dining room and a Patio.

These three couples, for there own reasons, have decided to embark on this journey to find their love. These four couples have agreed to put it all out there in hopes of making the right decision which shall be the last of the decisions in this category of their lives'.

I take a walk into the back yard approaching the four couples where they now gather with wine glasses in hands swaying lightly to the soft music in the background. I scan the bodies whose wearing their exquisite dresses with hair and make up dolled up and cut tail blazers and straight cut pants as they wear their similar energies in search of their one true love. I take note of the body language which tells their stories of the search for unanswered questions. Their aura screams of uncertainty and their disposition tells of their fears. I look around taking in the evening's charm, the warmth of the sun the chitter chatter in between couples. As I take my position in the gazebo between the couples with a smile on my face, I start to introduce myself knowing they have no idea what they are in for as only time tells our stories.

I took to the middle and gave the first speech, "Hi all. Welcome to the Lake Side Cabin, as you all know I'm Ezra Moore and I want to thank you all for taking this journey with each other. I know this may be a fearful time for some as well as a very exciting time for others, but I want to let you all know this is everyone's journey just as much as Your Journey. How you end it starts with the choices you make. You can choose to leave at anytime, however if left before the six weeks has ended the money at the end would no longer be valid as yours. Just a reminder to all, You may have come as a couple but the decision to stay or leave would be made as individuals as you may not be leaving as a couple. A partner can decide to choose whether or not he or she decides to leave with the partner that wants to forfeit of if they decides to stay and see if true love is awaiting them." As that was said, the couples looked at each other then at the others perhaps for confirmation or for company in their thoughts.

"Also to note, as signed in the agreement, there are cameras in the cabin even though you may not see them. This is just for study and safety purposes and will not in anyway be publicised. I know we all agree you are here to look for your one true love so open your heart, open your mind and make your choices without fears." I ended with a smile and everyone gave a hesitant cheer. The cocktails in their hands did nothing to simmer their anxiety which was seen in full view.

"For the rest of the evening you can choose to spend with your fiancé' or get to know the other couples as well in this cabin. There are eight bedrooms in total and you are to occupy three bedrooms only, which goes without saying one couple per bedroom. There is no television, cable or wi-fi available on location which gives you the opportunity to interact. The fridge is fully stock with food and the lake is also accessible to all. Make tonight your best as tomorrow lives may be changed as you would be meeting the reason we are all here.... The soul mates." Pins could have dropped and it would be heard in a distance. The quietness throughout sung louder than the soft jazz music which was played in the background. The smiles are faint and the chill can be felt.

"Oh come on guys, remember fear cannot stop us from fulfilling our dreams and goals. We all want our time, so lets make this journey last and shoot your best shot. May you all find your true love." I raise my glass in the air and all joined in with much more ease and less tension.

The couples mingled with each other, the first lady made her way to me. Tall and slim with short bob symmetric hair that gracefully framed her face. The peach dress she wore, complimented her caramel skin tone and added colour to her dark brown eyes. Her high cheek bones matched her bright eyes which didn't seem over burden by the eyelashes she wore which only enhanced her look.

She stretch forth her hand free of the wine glass, 'Hi Ezra, I just want to say thanks again for coming up with this idea and even putting us on a journey such as this which I must say is a bit terrifying." She lets out a half laugh.

"Samantha, like I said, there is nothing to be afraid when it comes to your happiness. I am sure Niko is eager to see if his soul mate is indeed out there for him or if you are the soul mate he has been looking for his entire adult life. Don't stress over it dear." I assure her and lightly rub her arms.

She sips her wine and looks to the side. I can tell she is uneasy just thinking about the what if's and is also struggling with the could be's and the maybe's of the situation.

"You know what, you are right, this is our Journey to find our true love and I would take your advise and go into this with an open heart and open arms." She genuinely smiles and her aura seems a bit less tense.

The second lady makes her way to me as suspected she would, she is mid height, could be five feet five inches with a curvy body and a tiny voice. Her hair worn long and curly, with platinum highlights. Her burgundy dress cut low in front but tails to the back leaving little for the imagination acts as a sticker on her high yellow complexion. "Hi Ezra, you are truly something else. I must say I am afraid to even think what the outcome could be like. I am not sure I want to go through this right now. What if I lose my fiancé' the only chance I have right now, I am thirty two and to start over I don't know if I can especially when I already have this in the bag you know."

I give her a sympathizing look, I understand this is not a norm and can be overwhelming Amarosa, but let's say you do forfeit the journey now. What if your soul mate was actually the one you would have met tomorrow? Here's what, at least stay for the night, meet your intended soul mate, have dinner with him for one night, and if after you decide you want to leave, it is totally up to you, but remember, your choice does not depict Dixon's choice." I gave her the last advice as many times we tend to fear what we don't know and settle for what we do know while giving someone else the power to choose for us.

"Hmm." She nods her head. "Ok Ezra, I got this. Let the journey begin." She smiles and made her way back to her fiancé.
