We followed the lady through the restaurant, the smiling families and couples seated at their table sent a pang of loneliness through my chest. Great, another unwanted feeling to churn around with my anxiety. I really wish I would've stayed in LA now. I don't know if I'm completely ready to face these old friends. No, its not the friends I'm worried about. I'm scared of the thought of facing those old memories. I was terribly aware that my hands were shaking, and I did my best to hide them in the small front pockets of my jeans, only to find that they were fake. I huffed and shoved my hands into my back pockets as the lady finally came to a stop.

"You two are the first to arrive." She nodded before heading back to her post at the front door.

Just then, Richie flashed in my brain. I was supposed to ride here with Richie. Shit! I wonder if he waited up on me. I doubt it, he'll probably just assume that I was taking too long to get ready and come on his own. Yeah, he could have his brotherly moments, but Richie has never been the most touchy-feely guy. He hates all that mushy stuff. I'll most likely just get a text from him saying that he left already and I should just get a cab to meet him here.

"You c-coming?" Bill asked, pulling me out if my deep thoughts.

"Yeah," I nodded and tried to laugh off my previous mental absence from the room.

We stepped into the room and immediately, my eyes were drawn to the huge fish tank that practically served as one of the walls. Standing in front of it, his hands clasped behind his back, was none other than the reason we had all been called back here. Mike Hanlon. I smiled as he turned around to face us, clearly a bit taken aback by our early arrival.

"I'll be damned, (Y/n) Tozier and Bill Denbrough." He shook his head and smiled, but after years of living with Richie and seeing him hide his feelings, I could tell he was worried about something.

"Mike, you look good." Bill nodded as Mike came in for a hug, "How are you doing?"

"I didn't know if any of you would- after all this time, but of course you came." Mike sounded almost frantic.

I get that his call was vague, but who wouldn't take the opportunity to ditch their busy lives and come hang out again. From what I remember, we all got really close that one summer. Something brought us together, and we were all stronger because of it. Why wouldn't anyone want to rekindle those warm feelings?

"You know an oath is an oath." Bill nodded.

"Losers gotta stick together right?" I nodded, unsure of where I'd heard something like that before. Maybe Bill had said it when we were little? Eddie? Did I say it?

I felt dizzy, and leaned against the wall. Something was coming back to me. Whether it be my mind playing tricks on me or an actual memory, I wasn't sure, but there was nothing to do to stop it.

"Get back! Oh, I know all about you Ms. Marsh...and I don't want a dirty girl like you touching my son." She looked down on Beverly as though she were something she'd just scrapped off het shoe, and even though Bev and I weren't that close, I was not going to let someone say that about her.

"Are you fucking serious, Mrs. K?" I asked, shoving my way to the front of the group.

"I don't think your mother would appreciate you using such a tone with an adult." She snarled.

"An adult? Where do you see an adult Mrs. K? An adult wouldn't look a thirteen year old girl in the face and admit that she believes the rumors and gossip that have been spread about her. All I see is a bitch that doesn't know how to keep her nose out of other people's business!"

"What did you just call me?" She asked, glaring down at me.

I glared right back, "I think you heard me."
