Library vibes ( kurapika x Reader )

Y/N POV

i walked into the library a bit in a rush, i waved to my friend who was handling the front desk and went to the upstairs Loft, Not many people came here to this side. It was always calm and peaceful , I grabbed a book one of my favorites, It may be a little kids book but i loved it. The little prince will always have a place in my heart, As i was walking to my corner i saw a blonde boy looking for a book, this shocked me since i've always been the only one here.

I sat down and started to read, with every word my imagination ran wild, I've always enjoyed books that made my imagination live freely. I suddenly felt a person sit next to me , I looked up and saw the blonde boy , the boy looked up and giggled " sorry , i should have asked first" he said " its ok, feels nice to have company" i stated. " My name is Kurapika" he said flashing a smile " y/n is mine" i said returning the smile, Kurapika seemed like a sweet guy and cute as well. 

" I see your reading the little prince" he said while looking at my book, I nodded " My father always read this book to me, Now that i live alone i read it to remember those days, plus i love books that let my mind go wild" i said smiling. Kurapika smiled " its nice to meet someone who likes to read like me" he said while chucking, I check my phone looking at the time and smiled " i guess im going to be here for a while"

" I'll stay with you if you want" The man offered " Its up to you , i'm usually by myself so it doesn't matter" I responded " then I'm staying " he said. This man isn't bad , I hope we can connect a bit more.

I told him ill be back , I got up and ran to get a few snacks. I got a whole bunch and went back to the library and shared with him " Hope i didn't keep you waiting, i got these for us" i said while smiling. " thank you y/n" Kurapika said giving me a happy expression.

The rest of the day Kurapika and I talked about books and our lives , Time passed by so fast with him and then we got kicked out because of closing time. Kurapika walked me home and we made plans to meet up the next day, If i didn't get Library vibes today then i wouldn't have met him.
