HE WATCHED WITH NO BURNING PAPER in his hand or a bottle of wine in the other. His shoulders somehow felt lifted at the sound of her voice; that harmonized with the strings of the violin. Eyes fastened on the girl before him, he couldn't help but give in that it was a fascinating mini-performance. And it was just the two of them, five feet away from one another.
But she wasn't perfect. It wasn't too long until her slender hands slipped and ruined the whole piece. She clicked her tongue in frustration as sweat endlessly sprouted from her head and fingers. She was certainly getting exhausted.
But he wanted her to continue playing, merely because the only reason that he continued living was the fact that he'd get to hear her voice every night.
