Virgil, Jeff, John and Alisia all sat on the floor next to the control panel, Virgil was wrapping a bandage around Alisia's stomach as he had already pulled a piece of metal out of it and Jeff held an oxygen mask over John's face who was staring worriedly at his wife.
Scott and Gordon were trying to stabilize the thunderbird so they could get back to the island when a flashing red light caught Scott's eyes, "we've got a warning light on our system."
Alisia looked up and ordered, "try manual override," she began to breathe heavily through the pain of her injuries, Jeff shouted his daughter-in-law's order to his son but it didn't work. Jeff stood up and looked at the control panel, "back to thunderbird 3" he ordered as he bent down and helped John stand and Virgil and Scott carried Alisia to the door, Gordon tried opening the door but couldn't and turned towards everyone else, "the locking mechanism jammed."
Suddenly, a voice filled the air, one that sent chills straight to Alisia's core, "attention thunderbird 5, as you can see I have taken over your facilities, you no longer control your operating systems." Scott gently placed Alisia on the ground and Gordon bent down next to her as the temperature began to rise. "Ok you have our attention" Jeff stated, "who are you? what do you want?" he asked.
The man answered, "oh how rude of me, you can call me the Hood, now listen to me Mr Tracy, we won't be negotiating. I am going to use the thunderbirds to rob the largest banks in the world starting with the bank of London, the world monetary system will be thrown into chaos and the thunderbirds will be held responsible."
Scott jumped forward and shouted angrily "you'll never get away with this." But Jeff took a more calm approach, "why the thunderbirds?"
The hood smirked at the screen before answering, "an eye for an eye Mr Tracy," he walked towards Tintin's parents, "you might have forgotten me but surely you remember saving my brother's life." He pointed which made his henchmen pull the man towards the screen, "I'm sorry Mr Tracy, I thought he was dead!" The Hood laughed evilly, "take them away."
"You left me to die that day, you may have broken my body but you have no idea how powerful my mind has become." He stared into the screen and Alisia felt like he was staring into her soul, his eyes turned catlike and all Alisia could feel was a burning sensation in her head, she screamed out in pain as John hugged her close, "now you will suffer" he stated.
"stop it!" John shouted as tears sprung to his eyes watching his wife scream in pain.
"You've already lost one Mrs Tracy," he stared into the screen as his eyes turned normal and Alisia felt the pain go away, "what's another one?" the communication was cut off and thunderbird 5 was left in the dark floating through space.
Scott looked towards the control panel, "Co2 levels are rising." Alisia shook her head and whispered, "oxygen batteries." Jeff heard her and ordered his oldest son to wire them up to clear the air, "how long will that give us?" Gordon asked which caused everyone in the room to look towards John, "about 4 hours."
