Shiroko:The girl who can tell the future

Chapter 4:Because of me..

Shiroko ran to upstair where she sensed something very awful.She knew that Natsume is in danger and that was why she rushed towards him.Natori and Matoba did not follow her as they heard a noise from outside.

Meanwhile,Shiroko entered a room where she smelled blood and there she saw Nyanko sensei lying with scratchs.

"Hey... Fatty Cat! Hey...Nyanko chan!"

Nyanko Sensei was still breathing and she looked around and saw Natsume was held into the air by invisible one and he was crying in pain.

"Natsume kun!!!"

She took out a dagger which was hid under her kimono and said some spell .Then, she rushed toward the thing which attacked Natsume.She could not seen it very well but she used her sight to sense the weak point of the thing and pierced it.

Suddenly,there was a vibration on the ground and the thing showed itself.It was a Yokai,very powerful yokai wolf,which is the gurdian of the north forest. Shiroko saw her dagger was on the joint of its arm and she realized she would die because the wound of the yokai was just a minor.

It pushed her with very deadly force that Shiroko vomitted some blood.Before she could dogged,it stroke her head with unknown force and it made the fox mask which she wore was broken into pieces. She was dizzy and left no strength to fight back.

"Tkkk...I missed.Sorry,I couldn't make it." Shiroko whispered and she was thrown out of the window from the 2nd floor.

Meanwhile,Seiji, Natori and Nanase investigated the garden and then they heard a very loud scare of a beast from upstair.

"Did you hear that?That was from upstair where Shiroko went!!",Matoba shouted .

They looked up and suddenly the window glass was shattered into pieces .With the glass pieces sparkling under the sunshine,they saw Shiroko was thrown out.The blood from her dropped onto Seiji's face . He realized the situation and caught her before she hit with the ground.

Because of the weight and speed,his arms were very hurt. But,he didin't release her.The last thing she knew was that she was held by Matoba's strong arm.

Now,Shiroko was between his arm and her injuries from falling from window were bleeding very much.Also,He noticed that Shiroko's breathing was  very slow and it was very dangerous.

"Shiroko!Can you hear me??Shiroko!!!"

There was no response.Natori understood what happened to them and ordered Hiiragi to save Natsume and Nyanko sensei.

Fortunately,the yokai deided to withdrew and Natsume and Nyanko sensei were safe.

"Where am I?"Natsume thought as soon as he woke up.

He looked around and saw Nyanko sensei lying beside him.

"Sensei~~"

The memories were vividly come into his mind and he knew that he was saved by Shiroko.

"Where is Shiroko?"

He suddenly stood up but his body did not allowed him. The pain was very serious and he had to lie down.
The door was opened, Natori entered and sat beside him.

"Sorry Natsume kun.I didn't arrive in time."

"My injuries're not very serious.I'm okay.More importantly,how about Shiroko?She's hit by Yokai twice"

"She's with Matoba san and he is trying his best to heal her.Don't worry."

Natsume did not talk anymore and the room was silent. But,Natori broke the silent again.
