Matchmaker K - S01E05 [Pairs]

"Annyeonghaseyo!" Sulli stood on the stage alone, greeting the audience. It felt a little foreign to be back since the show had received critical acclaim while she was absent.

"Wah! Sulli's back!" Amber ran onto the stage next to her fellow member, followed by the MC.

"Welcome back, Sulli-ssi." The MC smiled at her. "Lay and Chanyeol did a great job last week, but I guess this week they're back as guests."

"They were daebak," Sulli beamed, giving the two plenty of adulation. "I saw the broadcast."

"Well then," The MC had on a smirk that alluded to something that would definitely get the fans squealing. "We all remember that Chanyeol has to complete a penalty this week, right?"

Of course, affirmation came with the audience's shrieks. What they did not expect were the EXO candidates to walk onto the stage one at a time, with what appears to be Chanyeol following behind.

"Annyeonghaseyo, it's Chanyeolie." Chanyeol cupped his face in his hands and smiled. He had long brown curls that went down to his back and an aesthetically appealing dress that screamed 2015 fashion.

Sulli bursted out laughing and Amber almost fell off the stage. The other EXO members seemed to have gotten used to this new Chanyeol beforehand while backstage and the air was certainly filled with ambivalence.

"Thanks to KatriaMariea-nim for sending us the winning penalty for Chanyeol," The MC seemed to have stiffled a laugh before continuing. "He will continue the rest of this episode in this attire."

Chanyeol merely smiled through his adversity as the show went on. 

"I think he's prettier than me." Amber attempted to alleviate Chanyeol's pain, but it was much too late as he was already scarred for life.

"Chanyeol-ssi, you should take that as a compliment." The MC laughed. "Now, we all saw the short video at the start of the show, right?" (Again, please watch the video before proceeding beyond this point if you haven't already.)

"This Matchmaker K person has a really good eye," Xiumin commented. "I wouldn't have even spotted those scenes." 

"Don't act as if those were just random and ambiguous scenes." The MC spoke. "We're going to hear all your explanations for them right here and now."

"All of them?" Amber asked.

"Of course, the fans all want to know what you were thinking!" The MC advocated the fan's desires.

"Who's going to start?" D.O asked innocently.

"Well, since you've spoken up first, why don't you?" The MC turned to face him and you could immediately see that he became an adversary in Kyungsoo's eyes.
