Mia walked into the first day of class, the mysteries of the ninth grade spread out before her. Everything she saw was new and exciting, but the most exciting was the prospect of a boyfriend! She was both a virgin and had never had a boyfriend, but she was convinced she could secure one by the end of the year. She had to. She had to prove to her friends that she could get a guy, and that she would. Since her parents really didn't care too much about her, she craved attention, and needed a man to give her love. She was as straight as Cinderella in a pervy fanfic, and she would only kiss a girl to get a guy. However, as she walked into the new year, immediately two guys caught her eye. One was tall as hell, and had mid-length hair, and his impeccable face caught her eye, his beautiful eyes gleaming and drawing her to him. The other was average height, but his wild eyes and dyed hair (even though it's against dress code) made him a very viable option for her advances.

It had been a day of school, and as Mia walked out of school, she decided to start going for the tall dude, and she had found out through clever sleuthing that his name was Jack, so she sidled up to him as he walked out the front of the school, sitting unnecessarily close as he slid down the fence to sit on the sidewalk. "Hey cutie, what's up?" She said as she leaned against him. He seemed perfectly fine with it as he replied, "other than a mountain of homework on the first day, good." He rested his head on top of hers, his hair getting in her eyes. "Wassup with you, cutie?" He asked. "Well not much, at least not till you showed up," she responded, winking. She was startled as a car horn honked, and a sweet Mustang rolled into view. "Oh, that's my sister," Jack said, lifting his head off hers, and stood up. He slung his backpack over a shoulder and walked to the car, turning back and winking at her before getting in the car and rolling away.

Mia smiled to herself. She had got to first base.
