When I got home my father was sitting on the couch, he was red and had an angry expression, I think the bodyguard already gave him the news

"Dad" I said below a whisper "I really like this boy" I paused "and I think I'm old enough to have a boyfriend" he looked at me and sat up

"You will never be old enough to have a boyfriend, your still my little girl" a tear escaped his eyes "I don't want you to grow up"

"Dad I will always be your little girl" I cried "I just want my freedom, I'm almost seventeen and you treat me like a five year old" my dad stood up and hugged me

"Okay if that boy hurts you tell me, I want to meet him, but remember one thing I will alway be there for you, and I love you and would do anything just to make you happy"

"I love you too, but I don't think you can meet him yet, I just met the boy"

"If you just met him why did he grab your waist like y'all was married" he exaggerated

"Dad stop" I laughed "I'm going up to my room" I ran up the stairs, eager for him to text me

I laid in bed feeling my eyes get drowsy, but the sound of my phone indicating I had a text message woke me up a little bit

I don't feel like texting, FaceTime me

He called me and seconds later I answered. He was laid in bed and I saw his bare chest, I thought I was gon melt until I found my composure, he stared deep into my eyes and me feeling uncomfortable looked away

"Why do you do that?" I questioned, he did the same thing at the party, but I don't know why I felt uncomfortable this time.

"I don't know, your eyes just sexy as hell" he laughed "plus your titties sitting up and I ain't trying to see allat" I felt my cheeks get red from embarrassment

"I ain't one of these hoes, I totally forgot" I blurted out and I pulled my shirt more up making them jiggle in the process

"Damn" he grunted "I'll be back" he quickly said, after five minutes I thought he forgot I was still in the phone so I was ready to hang up until I saw his face and his dreads picked up into a ponytail

"How old are you?" I asked

"18, how bout you"

"Seventeen, I'm turning eighteen next year"

"You a baby" he laughed

"Boy bye" I put my hand out

"You look mixed" he looked at my features, my black curly hair, caramel skin tone

"Yeah I am, my momma Dominican and Puerto Rican, while my dad fully Black and has Hatian blood as well"

"Well I'm fully Black, I just took good care of my hair and here we are" he touched his hair, I laughed but I felt like I forgot something

"Ohhhhh shit" I whispered

"What?"

"I forgot to pack my clothes, I'm visiting my grandma for the weekend"

"Just pack them tommorow" I gave him a stupid "I'm leaving tomorrow early in the morning, just keep me entertained while I'm packing" I said fastly

I put my phone to where you can see my whole body "okay just talk while I pack" I said while he nodded, looking at I'm guessing my room

I made my way into my walk in closet

"I wanna see what you finna bring" he said, I laughed "why?"

"I don't want no boys looking at you" he said serious "nahh I'm just fucking with you" I laughed

"I thought you was forreal"

I showed him two outfits "try it on" he said, I went inside my closet and changed not wanting to change infront of him

I walked out the closet and showed him my simple sundress with my yellow flats and I twirled around "It looks good on you" after minutes of me showing my clothes I would bring, we were talking and getting to know each other better, he was a really sweet guy

But little did I know there would be war forming later in the future.
