Here in the Mushroom Kingdom, the main Mario Bros were going about their days in Peach's Castle. Mario was having a conversation with the princess herself as she sat upon her throne, and Daisy came to visit to talk to Luigi and the others. And all of the Toad's were having a fun time talking with one another and playing games. As for the other side of the Mushroom Kingdom, which is known as Bowser's Kingdom, the big, bad, and scary firebreathing Koopa King was sitting upon his throne. All of his servants and minions were trying their hardest to work so they wouldn't get yelled at, or lectured by the king. As for Bowser, he wasn't just sitting on his throne and being lazy, but he was planning his next attack to capture Princess Peach.
He roared, his deep voice echoing throughout the entire castle. "GET TO WORK, GUYS! UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE THROWN IN THE LAVA PIT!!" His angry, strict, and stern voice made the goombas and koopa troopas shiver in fear. They all quickly scurried away to finish their jobs for the day, definitely not wanting to be thrown in lava. Kamek the Magikoopa, also known as the king's number one minion, or his father was standing beside Bowser. He was the one to find Bowser, and he adopted him, but he is the king, so he must follow the rules of taking orders from him.
"U-Uhmm.. Sir, your nastiness, maybe you should calm down? I'm sure the others could hear your voice all the way from outside." Kamek suggested, his old, yet a little stern voice sounding very hesitant upon his words. Bowser grunted, a bit of smoke coming out of his nostrils. "Our walls are pretty much steal, and I thought you would probably get used to this by now!" The Magikoopa sighed, replying with a nod before he adjusted his glasses. As the king, Kamek, and the minions continued to work on their plans and attacks to capture Peach and destroy Mario once and for all, the Koopa Prince, Bowser Junior was in his room, playing a video game on his Nintendo Switch.
"Ugh! Stupid game!" The prince growled in rage, throwing his switch at the floor. "Its broken. I never lose! Hmm.. Maybe Kamek can fix it." Junior thought to himself for a moment. He was only a kid, raised by an evil king, so of course he was somewhat of a brat, and always thought that he could accomplish anything. He hopped off of his bed and walked up to his Switch, picking it up and examining it to make sure that he didn't break it. He let out a sigh, knowing his father would probably get angry if the screen broke. He walked up to his door, jumping up to grab the handle and pull it open, because he was very short.
"KAMEK!!!!" The prince shouted from outside of his room. Kamek sighed and climbed on his broom, flying to where Junior was. "Yes, Young Master?" Kamek replied as he arrived to the prince, getting off of his broom. Junior put his Switch up to Kamek's face. "My stupid game is broken! I lost! Fix it!" He demanded. The Magikoopa chuckled with a small smile. "I'm sorry, Young Master, but I don't believe the game is broken. I'm just afraid that you have lost."
"What?! I never lose! If I do, then the game is obviously broken!!" Junior complained, obviously not wanting to admit that he just lost. "It may have just been a hard level, or you might have made a mistake when you were playing. Its no big deal, just try again." Kamek replied, trying his best to convince the kid. "I guess I can try again later.. Oh! What's papa up to?" Junior immediately switched the conversation around and he ran down the stairs to find his father. "Dad, dad!" He said, running up to him as Kamek followed along on his broom.
"Yes, Junior? What is it?" He replied, his angry mood flying away because he saw his son. "What are you doing right now? Wanna go play something?" He asked excitedly, feeling very hopeful. The king frowned and scratched his head, not wanting to disappoint his son. "I'm sorry, Junior. I'm very busy right now.." Bowser said, as Kamek watched the conversation quietly. The prince whined, crossing his arms. "I can help you! Please, can I?!" He said, just wanting to spend time with his father. "I'm really sorry, but this is some work that you should let your dad handle. Go hang out with Kamek! He'll give you something to do."
Bowser replied, glancing at Kamek who was awkwardly and silently standing there. The magikoopa smiled, though he knew Junior wouldn't want to hang out with an old and lame guy like him. "Ughhh.. But Kamek is so boring and lameee!!" Bowser chuckled in his deep voice. "You'll get used to him. I promise I'll hang out with you tomorrow, okay?" The Koopa Prince stomped his foot on the ground and pouted. "You said that yesterday! And the day before, and the day before that, and the day before that..." He could go on and on. Its been a long time of Bowser promising that he would hang out with his son the next day.
"Ehhh.. But I'll keep my promise this time! You know I love you, son. I would never break a promise!" He said, even though he has broken many promises. The prince glanced down at the floor with his pouty face visible. He couldn't convince him any more, and he knew that it probably wasn't a good idea to throw a fit if his father was busy with something. "Fineeee..." He said in a very dramatically sad voice, walking over to Kamek. "Cheer up, Young Master! At least you have me. Why don't you try to teach me how to play one of your games?" He suggested, not wanting the prince to be sad, especially because he cared about him as well.
"Hmph, I guess. Follow me" Junior said, running up to his room to grab his switch and attach it to the console case plugged into the TV. "What do you wanna play..." He asked in a very sad tone, not even caring what they did at this point. Kamek frowned and walked over to Junior, using his staff as a cane to help him. "Aww, don't be so gloomy, your evilness. There are plenty of things you can do!' Kamek said, once again, not wanting the prince to feel down.
"Not really! And I wanna help papa! I wanna help make plans to beat Mario and capture Peach, not just wait until the action!" Junior whined, only wanting to help his father so he can grow up to be just like him. "You will be able to when you're a little bit older! Some of these things are just a little too complicated for a little koopa like you." Junior didn't like when someone mentioned that he was so little. He always saw himself just like his father, and Bowser always told him that he was strong, scary and cool just like him. "Whatever.. I'm just going to go to bed.."
"But its only 8 o'clock! Are you sure you don't want to play something?" Kamek said in a worried tone. Junior replied with a slight nod, walking out of the room and up to his bedroom. "Goodnight, Kamek." He said as he opened his doors and walked inside. Kamek sighed, replying in goodnight and flying back to Bowser, telling him that he went to bed because he was tired.
(I hope you enjoyed the first chapter of my new story! If you have not checked out my Knuckles and Rouge one, you totally should! I've been a little stressed and busy with online classes right now, but I'm trying my best! I have absolutely loved Bowser and his team, including Bowser Junior for a long time, so I decided to make a story! I hope you enjoyed, and see you in the next chapter!)
