It's been 3 weeks since the incident with Wonwoo and I see a welcomed change in our Jinnie. He's been attending the therapy sessions and catching up on his semesteral work as well. It's amazing to see him blossoming so much. He laughs more now and his smiles are wider and more honest. It's as though the great chasm that existed before within him, has broken free after he confessed to me about his life.

My husband has noticed it too and he is happier knowing that our Jinnie is the happiest he's ever been. Our baby too is thriving. Dr Yoo thinks he's going to be a big boy and Jinnie's bump is noticeably much larger now than his last check up. He's picked up some weight too and he looks even more beautiful now. His cheeks have filled up and his ass is thick and lovely. Jimin and he had to go shopping to buy new clothes for Jinnie so I decided to go ahead and plan my surprise for him.

Yeah, it's our Jinnie's birthday and he thinks we don't know. I had recruited Namjoon and Jimin's friend Hoseok, who had recently joined us, to help me decorate and plan the party. Namjoon is still very sceptical about our arrangement but since he's been my friend for more years than I care to remember, he's accepted the situation and hopes for the best for us.

Hobi on the other hand is super excited about everything. In the short time that he's gotten to know our Jinnie, Hobi's completely smitten with him. Seokjin just has this aura about him. He reels people in with a charm that he isn't even aware of. Even my tactiturn friend, Namjoon is under his spell although he won't admit it.

"Do you think Jinnie will like the surprise Kook?" Hobi asks me.

"I hope so. I don't know if he's ever celebrated his birthday. I want him to enjoy this day even if he doesn't celebrate it normally. And Hobi, can you please get off that ladder, you know you have one broken leg, I don't want Park to kill me if you lose the other."

Hoseok scoffs at me but gets down obediently. Around the time we lost our child, Hoseok had an accident of his own during a practise for his dance routine. An overhanging beam had come loose and fallen on him, causing him to injure his leg badly. Bad enough, to put an end to his dancing career. His leg was crushed and with it his hopes and dreams for a career in dance. Now he is Jimin's assistant but recently we've placed the burden of the Singapore offices on his shoulders heavily.

Namjoon is busy tying the birthday banner and party streamers. I watch him, amused with his furtive glances at Hoseok, which he thinks I haven't noticed. I laugh lightly as my phone rings in my pocket. It's my husband and he says they're almost done with their shopping and coming home as Jinnie is tired.

"Guys, come on, they'll be here anytime soon. Jinnie is already tired and I don't want to make this a long day for him."

We managed to complete everything and set the table for dinner with the cake as the centrepiece. It all looks very pretty in Jinnie's favourite colours, pink and white.

Just then the door swings open and we yell 'SURPRISE' in unison, startling him. He holds on to Jimin, steadying himself before smiling at us shyly. I take his hand and kiss it softly.

"Happy birthday angel. Are you surprised?"

"Thank you hyungie. Yes, very much so. How did you know?"

I shrugged my shoulders noncommitally. "A little bird whispered in my ears," I smiled at him and he reciprocated.

Jimin rolled his eyes at me. "Don't listen to him baby. We had your date of birth for your documents." I stuck my tongue out at him and Jinnie laughed. His beautiful, sweet laughter rang out into the room. I gazed at him adoringly until my husband clicked his fingers in front of my face breaking the spell. I smiled sheepishly while he just ruffled my hair.
