Natsumi was sitting in the cafeteria of the hospital as she talked to her best friend on the phone.
Just one sip of her hot chocolate with the straw, and she choked on it already by the information that she just heard through phone.
"No way! Yo-" her voice broke again due to the coughs she let out. "-you what!?" Her voice was more like a shout.
"Jeez! Calm down Natsumi... Everyone in the cafeteria must be looking at you now!" Jungkook hissed on the phone.
She moves her eyes around the place and she did not saw any one or two people looking at her...
Everyone present there was looking at her.
She slightly bowed apologetically to the few patients and doctors seated there in the canteen. Bringing her attention back to Jungkook on the phone, she whispered this time...
"So you saying that it was the first day at your company, and you are already at the highest post that too-
- with a salary of freaking 80 million won...?"
This man had just been shoved into a this lifestyle and she never imagined what was waiting for him next. That being more than lavish.. her doctor's ass was complaining in a pout. She could not even believe a single word that he said. No one would obviously...
She started thinking whether he seduced her with his pretty face or he-
"Ha! I told you she must be impressed with my portfolio and resume" Jungkook said.
Natsumi could just imagine a smirking, full of himself, Jungkook's face in her head right now..
She scoffed with a smile following after it as she stirred the hot chocolate with the straw in her right hand to see it releasing vapours.
"And to be honest, she was really something..."
Her smile wobbled a bit at that.
"Do you mind elaborating this 'something'..?" She insisted.
And then heard him sigh.
"I mean.. I don't know.. I felt- starstruck..?" He wasn't clear with his own words making Natsumi get confused.
"Of course you will...you met one of the biggest business woman of Korea, she is like a celebrity..." She tried to sound normal.
There was a pause for a second on the phone. The pause just made her more curious about knowing what kind of thoughts was this guy carrying in his brain at that point of time.
